Awwww...so nice of D to take the time to make this little (tantalizing) snippet... I know he's a brilliant muso with a voice from heaven but...was Most Impressed with the skills on the glockenspiel! I love how we can also glimpse the emotion in Damien's voice in these song snippets too, it's fantastic, he always has so much control AND so much emotion - just perfection! I'm really excited about this album and love the video diary and updates, it gives such a sense of the inner life of the project in the works. Really looking forward to seeing more of them! |

How did you know what the song was called, JJ? I didn't hear them say it in the video.  I thought that song sounded a bit like the ReLeaf song "Falling Down". Or it just reminded me of it because D said the word "fall" or "falling".  I listened to that snippet of "An Ordinary World" about 5 times in a row earlier. Omgosh, I love it! I find that little snippets like that can be so catchy, sometimes even more so than full songs. I've still got Brian McFadden's song snippet "Just Say So" stuck in my head, and it's not on YouTube anymore so I can't go and listen to it. It's driving me crazy.  Anyway, back on topic: I can't wait to get the album! Remember those video blogs where D would sang snippets of songs (like Who You Are and Blew It All Away), but he did the acoustic versions? They were awesome! I want him to do those again!  And it sucks that the old ones aren't up anymore, I want to listen to Who You Are (acoustic)!  |

 Awesome! Absolutely loving the new sound, especially Ordinary World  !! It's so different to Where We Land, yet it's still 100% Damien! He looks fantastic and seems so delighted with how things are going... This is going to be totally epic! And Video Blog No. 1? When's the next one?! |

I loooooove the sound of that one too Winter. I really like An Ordinary World too but the 2nd one has me really taken with it. I can't wait to hear the rest. The vocals...WOW...  The song from 4:53. I abslolutely love it when we see D's sense of humour and cheeky side! The fun and games with Stuart and G had me giggling my head off ..and D's erm, Bosistos Bong!  It's actually a eucalyptus inhaler for his voice, (don't fret, gentle lurkers!) but the cheeky grin and the raised eyebrows were a scream! and the SOUND ..man, what a wonderful surprise! It's already feeling like it's been built from the ground up, is layered and complex, with some awesome guitar already..and D's voice is sounding amazing. LOVING all of it!! Woohooo! Moe please Mr L> Can't wait for Video Blog #2 !! |
