*ahem* 'scuse teacher mode:  Smiles, the mix (sound) engineer puts the final track together from the separate tracks recorded. That means say drums & bass guitar, electric lead and rythymn guitar, acoustic guitar etc (and any other instruments, ie percussion, keyboards, strings) are all separately recorded, given a temp mix by Stu so that D can lay down his vocals, then the mixer comes in and tweaks the whole thing together into what we end up hearing as the final product. He does this for each separate song, then they decide the play order and presto! one studio album, (as opposed to live album) ready to rock! ;D  *siiigh* the image of D singing surrounded by candles and incense is just  hehe "I'm taking my fan and going!~ D, ya dag!  |

Thanks trills- the whole thing of doing it in bits and putting it all together at the end is fascinating... I vote we get Damien to conduct tours when he does his next album ;D
