Random Acts of Kindness

This is the 2nd week running I've heard them playing Damien's music during the Ch 9 Show "Random Acts of Kindness" - on at 6:30pm Sunday nights.


They just played "Beautiful" from the "Where We Land" album right through most of the last segment, is fantastic to hear Damien's music being used for this show!

sorry you missed it Princey I think they might have videos of previous episodes on the site but can't load it just now to check. Hopefully they do, they played "Beautiful" 3 times during the last segment and it went for ages over the background of the story, was gorgeous and so suitable for the person highlighted in the show!

As I said in the hut..and came squeeing in... I saw this and it was beautiful hearing Beautiful...it suited the segment sooo much and sounded sweet and beautiful (there's that word again!!)

I don't think I caught the song last week.

lol yes, that's 2 weeks in a row we've been getting dinner and heard Damien singing in the other room, then it's "Damien's on tv!"

We turned it over just in time to hear it being played......... altho I am ashamed to say that my husband said "listen to that!!" and I was like "what, who"............ he picked it before me!!! I need more Damien!!!

I know the start of that song so well and instantly pricked my ears and raced into the lounge room! ( all that editing on the Dfest DVD!!! ha ha)

I was waiting to watch a story on another channel and suddenly Miss 17 starts screaming from another room. She was screaming so much I couldn't understand what she was saying. All I managed to get from her is Damien is on TV. What channel I kept asking and I couldn't make out her reply. I eventually found out she was saying Random Acts of Kindness. I quickly switched it over and heard it, I then went to my story and switched it back again later to hear 'Beautiful' again as the story finished.
That is the nicest thing that Miss 17 has done for me in a long time. ;D

Plugz made mention last week that she heard Damien on the show. I had the feeling that it was 'All I Want Is You' but I could be wrong about that. I tried to find the story but I couldn't.

I'm sure the family's committed to another staion at that time but I'm so tempted to change next week just to catch the next Damien Leith song I love hearing that Beautiful was played this week.
