Bandit.fm is the old Sony site. This is where you can find updates, listen to and buy Damien's music. www.bandit.fm/downunder/damienleithIt also has the new photo of Damien on the front!

Hee I found Bandit a while ago! Last xmas I got a Sony mp3 player and got a free Bandit $20 voucher I like Bandit. It's easy to use, has some really good artists, and best of all you can download straight-forward mp3 files, no weird mp4's that you have to convert to a disc to convert to something that can be played on something other than an iPod. I've been stocking up on David Bowie and some pop songs for my sis since last xmas ;D I ADORE the picture!!! And is that the new font? It's interesting - not really what I expected, but quite nice

Here's the unadulterated picture (hope they don't mind me posting it!) The artist pages are usually pretty cool - their web stylist does a good job, though this image looks just slightly squished down. Ah well. I think they've changed the 'channel' Damien was on - before he was on one called 'Breathe', for vocalists and pop artists. I suppose this probably suits him better

Yeah Hyper, this site has been around for awhile now, so I thought I'd give it it's own thread so we can quickly go to it if we want and for those guests that may not know about it.
I like the font they have used too, I hope it's on the single or album cover. ;D

Ooh the new font! ;D Yay! I'm assuming they'll use it on everything Roxy, they usually keep the font as a common theme for all the album promotion. Otherwise, why would they bother coming up with new fonts? Love the pic too! I don't know spuddy, maybe they have many up their sleeves! I do like this font though, so I won't mind if they do use it all the time. ;D

I really like this image, styling and font. It feels pure and stripped back, just the way I like D's vocals..... Its just right. It would make a lovely cool banner and skin too

I remember during the listening session they were saying that the photographs were being done on film - no photoshopping - just the genuine man. I like that. Mind you, our photographers do a great job doing that here too i.e. Damien's pretty easy to photograph - whether you have a digital camera or not. That's why I thought it was awfully strange when the magazine editors, or whoever, have occasionally edited his pictures till he looked like a plastic man. Totally unnecessary.

I agree, Nuffy. Particularly the Night of My Life cover - it almost didn't look like him. This does look far more genuine. I love how they said that the photos from that shoot were all shot on film - you know the result you're getting is far more honest. They seem a bit more artistic and conceptual too - I like the high contrast so you get those atmospheric shadows. It's kind of a metaphor for the music - simple, raw, honest, yet also quite complex, with a deceptive amount of depth and substance ;D Edit: it's that time of the night when I start getting over-philosophical. I must be tired
