Smiley, I was under the impression it was Friday and then they calculate over the weekend the results are usually are released sometime on Sunday. I could be wrong and perhaps that has changed? But Friday to Friday sounds about right though? I think? Do the charts start Friday or Saturday? |

That's good!  I was worried... like I do..little worry wart that's me! So any sold on the Friday carry right through to the next week? Is that what you're saying? |

Smiles, I used to think it went from Saturday morning till the Friday afternoon of the following week. So a full 7 days of Sales. However, if the releases tend to come out now on the Friday, I am wondering if they go from Friday morning till the Thursday afternoon? Otherwise the Friday sales would not count towards the first week of release which could be a disaster as most die hard fans will get an album the day it comes out. Well we will anyway!  |

OKay, I have an answer... Chart window is now from Friday until midnight the following Thursday night. Also...and this is very very important and will be posted in other threads too.. If you are buying MULTIPLE copies of RJ, please make sure to put them ALL on separate receipts. In Team Damo's words: Multiple units within one sale will still only be counted as one unit. Obviously closer to October 9th, we will update threads and make sure everyone is aware of that. Also, as most of you know, if a retailer does stock RJ before October 9th, the sale DOES NOT count towards to Aria Chart so please make sure you buy it from October 9th |
