I am on dial up speed at the moment so I think I will just wait until I see the ad again on the telly (or Spud has watched the tape). If I think of it I will try and look at that link during off peak time. Thanks Nuffy.  |

I think you're gonna love this show Braffy. It's all about how fantastic nurses are... they save both the doctors AND the patients... they're cool, smart and gorgeous. Sound like anyone we know?  |

I just read the blurb on it and if that is the show then maybe it will be on here on a Thursday night and start on the 24th September after the Great Race has finished. - Just speculation.  I know that Channel 7 is trying to have the shows on at much the same time as in the States, so this would be pretty accurate. |

Well it does make sense to advertise a medical show during All Saints.  Anyway, just watched the ad!  Yes, it's definitely a medical show. You hardly get to hear any of TGTY, first they just have random music (not TGTY), then some characters talking, then "hey oh" etc, with "Damien Leith - To Get To You" written in the corner of the screen, then they talk a bit about the show, and then you hear "I'm chasing down a highway ... I'm lost going nowhere, trying to get to you ... God only knows I've been here once before" (it skips some lines of the song), then more talking, then "I'm going to get to you..." and then it says "Seven's new MERCY, starting soon". IMO there isn't enough of the song played for people to hear it and think "wow that sounds good", it's just too quick.  But I imagine they'll play longer ads which feature more of the song closer to the date of the first episode, and also once the series has started.  Oh, forgot to mention that the actors have American accents - so yes, it is an American show. |

I don't usually watch this kind of show but it does sound intriguing. I missed the advertisement for Mercy tonight (wasn't watching free to air)  but I'm loving the fact that TGTY is already out there on the airwaves. Huh, Mercy reminds me of Roy Orbison singing Pretty Woman - Merrccyyy. A comment I sometimes make when I look at Damien.  |

Braffy I'm so sad that you are missing out on so much because you're relegated to dial up by your ISP. Would you consider changing your ISP to something more realistic? I'm with Exetel as is Womby (I think) and they offer great deals with none of this cut off to dial up BS that you have to put up with.
