The whole song is beautiful, I love it, the video is okay but I thought there was too much of the girl and not enough of Damien. I think the song is amazing but the video could have been better.

I held my breath till it came on and now I can yell it from the rooftops: YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!!   I LOVE how we just see random bits of Damien from the start --- really HAWT... it's like a strip-tease to the big reveal ...   Then the monochromatic footage makes this video stand out visually as well as musically. and the story-line is just fine with me. It makes the getting back to Damien and the band just that much sweeter. I love Sydney and the skyline. CLOSE-UPS! I love the close-ups... no NOT the city  ... DAMIEN!  I love to see the man at work   Sorry, getting back to the song. DD asked if the rest of the album is like To Get To You because if it is she wants it! She's going to get a huge surprise cause the rest of the album's not exactly the same in sound but it's the same in it's unbelievably gorgeous quality!
Very exciting times, indeed. Especially for those discovering Damien's rockier side for the first time... Unlike his previous studio albums... I believe this song production represents Damien, as I've heard him, at his best ... NO... It's even better than I've ever heard him live, I think. Nuffy I'm so excited too about the fact that this is a performance video!! It's great for anyone who hasn't seen Damien perform live to really get a feel for what he's like in the shows - it's fantastic!  A few of my friends saw the video and song and loved it and also thought it was great to see Damien rocking out, they were saying it looks & sounds really cool Nuffy it's exciting to be able to tell others as you have been telling your DD that wow yes this is a fantastic song but there are so many awesome surprises waiting on the album, there are quite a few different moods and feels on the album and it's all incredible - THE WHOLE ALBUM is incredible - there's so much more yet to enjoy and savour!  So true Shims and I can't wait until its out  |

So late to the party (due to Melbourne trip) that any comment seems superfluous ;D WOW!!!!Love seeing D rocking, love the black and white with red and the fit with the lyrics, to be honest not that keen on the running girl, but loved the ending bit ;D *sigh* The song is FANTASTIC!!I can't wait to give it a few more listens!! |

Just LUURRV IT!! Damien has exceeded all expectations and it should be a big hit. I agree about the video though, not enough of Damo, but still a good effort. I've sent the link to all my friends who think I'm a bit cuckoo...they can't understand why I'm so obsessed - maybe I need to find some new friends eh? Nice to be in touch with all you kindred spirits. Go Damien!
