I did erinbella, he couldn't sing because he has to rest his voice, but they played a bit of I think it was Wouldn't Change A Thing, and some people rang up and said he had a beautiful voice and they won his CD.

It is the 3rd interview. It is on after Wil Anderson and Noni Hazlehurst. He is talking about the non payment for TWJ, the fan base  ,Remember June, the inspiration for the novel, going to Ireland, releasing RJ in Ireland in February. Dancing (RiverDance vs Figure Dancing) and lack of success at winning the girl after dancing. Idol this year. Starting work on the next album - that was a quetion to him. Peoples responses to this album with it being all original and not a covers album. They are suggesting that he does a childrens album next time and go up against the Wiggles. It goes for about 6 or 7 minutes The interview on FiveAA today was very similar with some of the questions. |

I heard the interview on 5aa this morning.
Damien also has a broken guitar string, plus a sore voice so he has been told to rest it.
He mentioned about doing the Day on the Green concerts. The 5 people who rang in and wished Damien a Merry Christmas or told him that they loved him got a CD. I tried ringing through (not to win one) but the line was engaged so that was a good sign.

Okay...am going to the newFM christmas party with my friend Deb tonight......won the tickets.....Deb is also a big fan of D's and is educating her neighbours  ;D We intend talking about RJ with Brad....he's getting the CD for Christmas ;D. not sure if Steve will be there as he started holidays yesterday, but will take a CD for him in case ;D |

Thanks Princey  Damien's music went everywhere today.......was posted to LA and San Francisco in the USA, India and Serbia ;D Had a fantastic time tonight....free barbecue food and salad catered by the hotel, free drayton's wine - I had cab merlot ;D and Brad (music director) and Steve ( station manager/producer) both have RJ now. Brad wants me to email him with the info re Lizotte's too. Sat with a group (who were given tickets as one of the station's advertisers) of lovely people, one who is mad keen on Damien, so I wrote down the forum name and D's Album name....that's how great the promo is up here...the woman loves him and has all his other music, but didn't know about RJ hhmmmmmmmm great promo work whoever!!! (NOT) Anyway told the fellow to also look into Lizotte's and they seem keen to go....so hoping ;D |

Was in Target this week and just as I went into the entertainment section I heard Damien's voice beind me ... and there he was, up high on a huge 4-plasma-screen wall display singing To Get To You, you could see & hear him through the whole section, was fantastic! They seem to have a selection of music artists on a rotation there that they play in that section |
