Hey everyone

Damien is about to release his first single "To Get To You" from his all Original Album "Remember June" on the 25th September 09, the Album - "Remember June" will be released 9th October 09! Just thought we should have some buying/downloading information in one thread in preparation of the release of the single and album to help them get the best debut possible.

The Aria Chart week is Friday - Thursday

The single will be getting radio airplay from the 15th September so please visit this thread Radio Links for all your voting information.

CD RETAILERS:

Buying Singles:
The Single (To Get To You) will be sold as a physical cd with only 1 song, (TO GET TO YOU) there will be no 'B' side with this cd. Just think of that lovely artwork you get when you purchase the single as a physcial CD! There will however be a bonus song when you purchase "TGTY" through the Itunes Store.

When purchasing actual CDs, please remember to:

• Purchase ONLY from the stores listed in the links below
  
  
• Try to purchase the Single/Album the first week of release for a big chart debut - Single 25th Sept - Album 9th Oct.
  
  
• Remember to have multiple purchases of the Single/Album (over 3 copies) rung up as seperate transactions.
  

Buying the album:
Over a thousand CD retailers and online retailers across Australia contribute their weekly sales information to ARIA for the calculation of the ARIA charts. These retailers are listed below.

DOWNLOADING:
When downloading the single "TO GET TO YOU", or Album "REMEMBER JUNE" do make sure you:

• spread yourself around the Online stores if making multiple digital purchases - only ONE purchase of TO GET TO YOU/REMEMBER JUNE will count from any one digital music retailer towards the aria charts, no matter how many times you download it...and PAY for it! (ie to make 2 purchases count towards the charts, don't download 2 times from the one place - go to 2 different online stores )
  
• do not ever download the single from an illegal source. Support our local music industy and don't support pirated music
  
• add a review or rating with your purchase - tell potential customers what you think!
  

Downloading from I-Tunes
You need to get iTunes on your computer and you can download it for FREE:

www.apple.com/au/itunes/

Then to make purchases, you either need a credit card for your account OR an iTunes card.
The iTunes cards are great, you can get some cheap one ($10 $15 I think is the smallest?), they are available heaps of places...kmart, music stores, even service stations. Then you use the card as 'credit' in the store....they are very easy to redeem.

Once you have downloaded iTunes and have an account there, not only can you download music, but you can rate and comment on that music
