I have told Neski that she is our eyes and ears for this concert, so I have requested that she take pen and paper plus the camera. I have had a message back that she is really excited and she says HI to everyone.

The cool change is already starting to come through Sydney, in Bankstown they have already dropped temp 42.6 to 32.1 in 14 mins. So hopefully it won't be long and you'll all be shivering again.

D has been scheduled to play about 3.30pm at these gigs, from what I've seen, so doubt it reached him in time, poor love. However, at least it should be a welcome relief when it arrives. Hope Nes is having a ball and gets to say Hi!. ;D

Hey guys So sorry for the realllllly long delay of report. Busy as. Haven't gotten the pics uploaded yet, but I was a fair bit back so will need to be cropped and probably not the highest of quality. Anyway, it was a sweltering hot day but I have to say Damien performed brilliantly despite the heat. He wore a very cute grey t-shirt with pink writing 'Transistor Pop Party', skinny leg jeans, what looked to be red converse shoes and a black hat. Hawt as. As far as the show went, the crowd seemed to like him. Although, they weren't the most enthusiastic when it came to the part sing along bits Damien always does. Haha. Only a small set list, but still very enjoyable. He started with Remember June, and then straight into To Get To You. He then had a little chat to the audience about the heat, the album, and made a comment about how he had recently had his birthday, turned the big 3-4 and joked about having a bad back. Haha. Then it was on with Beautiful and All I Want Is You - which had the sing a long with the high notes ... and boy did he go high. After that, Annie's Song was introduced and Indi did a beautiful solo. Hallelujah followed with Goodnight on its heels and then to finish up he sang Wicked Game. Over all a wonderful performance by him. He mentioned that he would be out to sign a few things, and sure enough after leaving the stage he went over to the merchandise table and boy was there a long line to see him! A lot of people bought Remember June I reckon. So when I finally got to see him, I saw that he had changed his shirt to a nice blue one, and said a big hey hows it going to him. I said I was the only one from the forum today and I got a great picture of him giving a nice big smile to everyone. Will post that soon. So he gave me a quick hug over the top of the table and said a lovely congrats to me and Brendan again, saw the ring and when Brendan handed him a little shirt to sign he decided to give us a very lovely message 'To Neski and Brendan, Congrats & Happiness love Damien'. So that was nice. He didn't really talk about anything else, just that he was excited to be there and for his upcoming shows. Then I had to be going because the line was still cued behind me. The rest of the night was wonderful, Tina and Ronan were great. So hopefully I will get the photos uploaded soon and crop and post them here. I know there isn't much detail in here but I can't remember too much (the heat was awful and fried my brain! Haha)

Thanks for popping in Neski. Your day sounds as brilliant as ours was in Bowral except we didn't have to suffer the heat. Looking forward to seeing your photos when you get a chance to upload them.

It's always great to read these personal experience reports and that was so well written Neski. Glad you enjoyed the day and Damien was obviously his usual gorgeous thoughtful self by doing the personal signing for you. Lovely.
