Well that was our last concert, but it was AWESOME!! The venue was quite smallish, and probably held about 230 odd people. It was held in the function room, and where they had the stage there were big glass windows behind Damien! The glare was rather off putting to say the least, and photo wise, just terrible. Will post those later. Damien was in absolute fine form, I don't know where he gets the energy from! I hope he can keep it up. He was bouncing around the stage like a gazelle all day! Set list: Remember June To Get to You Beautiful Ride Annies song Guitar man Wicked Game interval If Tomorrow never comes Crying Nessin Dorma Field of Atherny Danny Boy 22 steps everybodies Talking Good Night I don't like Mondays hallelujah Someone called out for D to sing Nessin Dorma, and Damien said that he hadn't done it in such a long time and wasn't going to do it, but then he said, Ah why not!, and put the guitar down and sang it Acapalla!! WOW it was amazing! he got a standing ovation for it, the crowd just loved it and were totally amazed! I think he even surprised himself, again! When Damien decided to sing If Tomorrow never comes, which he did for Valentines Day Afterwards Damien mentioned the DOTG etc, and some guy calls out .....Well you did that better than he did!! Which I agree, he does! The jokes were coming thick and fast today, and he really had the audience loving it all! Such a great story teller and joker! He's just adorable! Damien did a signing afterwards and heaps of people lined up to buy the cd! He told everyone that if they brought the CD today they were getting a free Poster too! (the tour poster) George said they had sold heaps of CD's so that's fantastic to hear. We had a brilliant day and it was made all the more special when we got to say a lovely goodbye to Damien afterwards before he went off to the Gabba to watch the Cricket! ;D So so Sad that our shows have ended now, but we had such a great time as always, and look forward to reading up on everyone elses shows as they go along.

Thanks for your report Roxy, I can't believe your shows are over already, its gone so fast, I'm glad you had an awesome time and that you got to talk to Damien a few times. I've heard Damien do Nessun Dorma acapella before, I think he gets a standing ovation just about everytime, its spine tingling stuff, but I wish he'd do some more stuff from RJ. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your pics and hopefully Bella's report tomorrow ;D

Wow Roxy it sounds like this was a wonderful show! Would you say this was your favourite? Which one did you think was best? - lol, see, he is like a gazelle!! When Damien decided to sing If Tomorrow never comes, which he did for Valentines Day Afterwards Damien mentioned the DOTG etc, and some guy calls out .....Well you did that better than he did!! Which I agree, he does! That was really amazing and strange for me to be at DotG and hear Ronan sing ITNC instead of Damien! Even though Ronan's was the version I originally knew it from, Damien's is the one I'm so familiar with now. It was a real experience to hear Ronan sing it live and it was beautiful, but Damien's is the definitive one for me now as well. I also missed Damien's ending when I heard the Ronan live version, I love Damien's arrangement. Loved reading all about the Brissie shows and so glad you all had such a good time, am thrilled to read there have been signings, so many will have loved that and will be taking home a signed copy of RJ!!
