WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!!!
THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY LONG POST.
Firstly, apart from the above, it was a fantastic night. The country club is a lovely venue, golf club, casino and entertainment complex, all set in beautiful gardens with water fountains
etc. The theatre is not huge, wide but not terribly deep. We were in row 9 which was the second back row but not a bad view apart from the heads in the row in front of us. The floor slopes upwards and aisles are wide so the view is not bad from the back.
Firstly we had dinner in one of the nicer restaurants at the casino, and I saw Indi, said a quick hello to her. I later saw Eric and went up to him to give him a gift for Damien as our seating did not allow a quick exit to run down to the stage. More later. Eric said that D had had room service.
The show:
Indi and Eric came on stage followed by Kevin Kelly with his Irish drum. Damien came out looking HAWT as usual in the sprayed on black jeans, black converse sneakers, grey t-shirt with black drawing on it (couldn't see what it was) and the lovely black light 'leather look' jacket.
Set List:

Encore: A lady called out asking for him to do the song he sang to Eils on their wedding night. He did a condensed version of "Creep" - wonderful - about the same length as the Idol version
Hallelujah - he mentioned the recording and i-tunes download.
I was so surprised and disappointed that he did not do STAY. Could easily have left out one of the cTW songs, although the ageing audience really appreciated those older songs. My DD reckons 80% were over 60!!
By the way, cd sales looked to be pretty good although by the time I had a 'wee wee' and caught up with Ange I didn't take a lot of notice.
Regular patter about his buns, working out. Said he and Eric played a game of golf in the arvo and Damien hit a duck... feathers everywhere.
Indi chipped in and said he did it deliberately and he said he can never do anything deliberately on the golf course! Anyway the duck survived! He lost 8 golf balls in 9 holes of golf!!
Now the gift: I gave Eric a gift to hand to Damien when he started his patter about the Stud coming to Australia.....Perfect timing by Eric at my request.. a small gift bag with a note clipped to the outside, "To the Stud of County Kildare ...love from Glawz. Inside was a packet of "BIG BOYS STUD PILLS" (actually mints) and he read out all the stuff on the packet which sounded pretty rude but he and Eric have such a wonderful ability to ad-lib and interact - they so complement each other. He eventually coaxed Eric to take a pill and he went on about how it made him feel - very funny, but you had to be there. I had written a note on the card to Damien just saying that I know he didn't need them but thought they might come in handy when he is worn out from all the touring. D mentioned the mankini and the boxer shorts.
I noticed that Ange posted that we caught up at interval - she and her friends were in the front row and one of her friends was Di's friend Ann. Will post pics in C&A when I get back.
After interval D was still going on about the stud pills. He read out the other wording which said they were ineffective on absolutely everything! I think he might have thought that the audience thought they were Viagra or something
It could have been that a lot of very aged people were in the audience - Mr G said he saw one old man being helped outside by some ushers. I was too busy watching D, mesmerised by the HAWTNESS!!
So slack of me not to mention the STANDING OVATION
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
MR G and DD enjoyed the show - GLAWZ IS STILL IN A COMA... COULDN'T SLEEP LAST NIGHT - JUST KEPT REPLAYING THE SHOW IN MY HEAD SO DOUBLE DELIGHT ha ha
