hi! Just a quickie because we're off to pick up our guests in a tick, but yep,Horsham ADORED D Eric and Indi and theyloved them back ;D Acoustics were brilliant in an old converted church with a vaulted wooden ceiling and a spectacular blue and gold pipe organ as the backdrop... and Horsham people can SING! They all said they were the best yet. ;D They are also lovely friendly people who warned us about the dangers of roos and trucks on the road at night. Obviously,we made it back in one piece. ;D Not much change from the setlist from Wellers except lots of TWJ.. (They LOVED it) five RJ songs, including acoustic Unordinary World (which he did at Wellers too, in case I omitted it). The Irish component absolutely slayed this audience, who also sang along to Stairway To Heaven and the couple of verses of I Don't LIke Mondays. Comments afterwards were gobsmacked D Love!..and a standing ovation! Gotta run, more later.

It sounds like such a beautiful venue Trilly & Princey! Good on the Horsham people for singing up too, I love hearing how great the reception is for Damien in the rural areas, it's so great that he can tour out further this time and see tons of people who've never been lucky enough to hear him sing live before - and wow, no wonder it sounds they were thrilled by the show!!

Sorry, haven't had much of a chance to come on lately, but like Trilly said, the show in Horsham was brilliant, the venue, an old church was full and the crowd loved Damien, the sound was magnificent I enjoyed every bit of the show, we both wore our Dshirts to the show so we stood out a bit , a few people in the audience asked us if we were with the band of course we set them straight and told them that we were just huge fans who liked to see them perform whenever and where ever they perform in Victoria. A lot of songs from TWJ featured tonight, the crowd really loved them, when Damien started to do Stairway to Heaven there was a huge cheer and another for I Don't Like Monday's, everyone really seemed to be enjoying the whole performance and Horsham have a lot of great singers who were able to keep up with Damien's high notes We certainly had a great adventure

Just a little note about a couple of songs I hadn't heard D sing live for a while that showed up in this set: Night Of My Life - felt very nostalgic and If Tomorrow Never ComesAudience went nuts! ;D

lol at getting lost, definitely a tradition - pity though it was on a trip when it was such a big detour!! Love hearing Damien do "Night of My Life" too - it's a rarity now but remembering the way he did it at the Vanguard for that Christmas show, wow, what a beautiful version. Can imagine the audience loving it, specially if he hadn't played there before! It's great & amazing to think how many fantastic songs Damien's got at his disposal now when he wants to add specials and rare ones through the setlists!

Forgot to mention too on our way to Stawell via Geelong we saw a few omens, signs which told us we were on the right track, etc Leithbridge, Leith Street and there was another one I'm sure, Trilly might be able to remember what it was, I'd forgotten about these until now
