Great photots Di, you did well in that lighting  Umm don't venues realise how distracting it is to see pipes/cables tacked up with tape behind an artist!!   We've had some dodgy looking backdrops also, surely it wouldn't take much for them to cover this sort of thing up and provide a nice setting for them. Obviously this is a makeshift area and they use it for other things, but still, it looks tacky.
