arrrrrgh I'm still trying to work out if I can tape MTV and watch free to air tv! I think I can, but not sure how!!  anyone know? ;D |

I don't know how to tape paytv Roxy  I don't think you can if you have one of those harddisc boxes. Normally to tape one show and watch the other, you just have to start taping on the video channel then press the tv button on the tv remote to watch the other station - but with paytv I don't know if it's the same... sorry, not much help... |

thanks shims, I just looked and I can tape foxtel but I have to watch it as well, if I change channels, it will tape that I have changed channels!  I can however watch free to air and tape foxtel....just not the other way round!! So it's no use to me for tonight. DH will want to watch all his shows *cooking, history and discovery* and I have dinner and lunches to make, so If I don't tape it.....I will miss it til later!! Good luck Damien....will be thinking and sending vibes from my kitchen! ;D  |

I've just signed up to MTV (cutting it fine, I know!). DH will attempt to tape it, fingers crossed! Good luck to Damien and I hope all of our votes get him the awards he deserves. ;D See you at the party! |

Ahh! Not just me then! This MTV thing definitely for the kids - we're too old for this Mysterri!! Well actually, I HAVE now found it. It's actually on the RIGHT hand side. The numerous tabs that say play, share etc. There's one that says AVMA 2007 PRE_SHOW and a link that reads "11 videos" under the MTV logo. Click on that and you get a drop down menu, about half-way is Damien's one. I still haven't found tutorial though. I need a tutorial to find tutorial.  Thanks Selestial. I finally got to see the video of Damien. |

That reminder is keeping me somewhat calm... ooooooo...good point Kami But even if he werent in the running for any awards, I'd still be nervous for the performance.....very big audience both live and televised, first time doing NOML on piano in public....and the high notes always scare me. Even though he makes it look easy, they MUST be hard to do! |

Ooh yeah... I keep forgetting somehow that he's performing as well! First time with piano, possibly wondering about the outcome of the awards, knowing that he's being broadcast all over the place... he doesn't like to do things the easy way, does he? I always feel a bit anxious too whenever I watch him perform... but he always pulls it off! He has had a lot of practice with this song and with different audiences, so he will be just fine. And imagine the promotion from this performance... a whole new audience for him perhaps? |
