GJ, Winter or Dede...I am wondering if we can somehow place this in the beginning of this thread, so it doesn't get lost? or am I slow on the uptake and missing that you have done something with it already? (sorry, if so....bit brain dead tonight...) |

OMG. I just watched the full performance. HOW ROCKSTAR WAS DAMIEN!?!?!    And is it just me, or near the end is there a guy in the audience staring at his butt and grinning gleefully?  hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......I think in some circles they call that "projecting", Kami.....  |

I'm quite over NOML but that was actually a great version. Hey ODT nice to see you here again. D's performance was actually much better live at the venue - the sound quality on the vid recording is a bit tinny. The falsetto notes went up up up into the arena - very impressive. |

Not really as much  - but not in a bad way. Not as huge a reception as he got, eg, at Carols by Candlelight and the Australia Day events, but I'd hazard that is because (a) it is some time since NOML was released and (b) he was on not long after P!nk opened the show and (c) there were a lot of Teddy Geiger fans about and (d) a lot of rock band rather than pop supporters (let alone acoustic) in teh audience too. |

ARGGH, I don't know what's happening but when I try to download the audio, it stops after about 400kb so I can only hear about first few seconds of the song. Does anyone know why it's doing that  |

It must have something to do with the new version of internet explorer we got. I guess I'll just have to ask my damien-hating friends to download it for me. |

I finally got to read all of this thread. I have been doing it over a numbert of days. i am glad I wasn't online the other night when the awards were on. I wouldn't have gotten a word in edgewise and hooley dooly I don't like to shut up. The clip is absolutely fantastic.  Thank you GJ. Very disappointing about not winning something but we tried. I just went to that Good Charlotte website that Winter mentioned. They had people from Columbia and all over voting for them. When I went to the site there were 133 people online and I would imagine that this is a 'low' time for them. They were pumping the awards on their site and asking their fans to vote for them so no wonder our local people have very little chance. Congratulations to Guy and Shannon for being able to get an award under those circumstances. I really feel that the Australian Awards should belong to Australian Artists. Let the OS acts be voted for in Viewers Choice but leave the other categories alone. OK Damien we will get right into it from the start next year. Trust us.
