11/11/2010 Friend's Restaurant Perth

OMG, I knew he had to have a Friday night show somewhere, I've been looking, it didn't make sense that he would do Thur, Sat and Sun and nthing on Fri. Wierd to have a $25.00 show at FRiends Restaurant which usually only does the $135 dinner and show. Would hate to miss this, but who can I take?? I've used up all of my friends over this weekend. They would say "not another show!".
I have brainwashed my 6 & 10 year old daughters into loving the music, maybe I could take them, seeing as it is at 6.30pm in a restaurant and not too expensive. What do you think?? Any one else out there want to come?

That is really interesting..... but you're right, Deb, weird! I can't imagine why Friends restaurant would be doing at $25 show on a Friday night?? I've never been to Friend's restaurant, but I can't imagine they have a separate section just for shows!

I hope you can go, Deb.... I would love to, but three nights in a row heading up to Perth might just be asking a bit too much..... but you never know........ doorsales......... in teh coma from Thursday night........... might just be there!!

I have just phoned Friends Restaurant and they say that this info is not correct although it appears on a couple of gig guide sites. He must be performing somewhere at that time and Date, but I can't find it If anyone sees a Perth show for Nov 12, let us know. I know all you lovely ladies have such good connections

I didn't think it sounded right! I am wondering if it is the Charles Hotel? That sounds about the right price, or he has done a show down at Busselton before, could be that one.

Can't believe this is on tomorrow!!! and it's so cold and wet here today, the dress I was planning on wearing was definitely very summery....... what to do???

The weather should be clear by the afternoon. Bring a coat and do the big summer reveal when you get in the restaurant ;D, it is warm inside, not cold at all. And of course Damien will have you in a sweat

We had a lovely night out with a lovely man tonight!! Too tired to post much more tonight, I will write a full report tomorrow, but just loved the Irish show - the Van Morrison numbers were standouts for me!!

Tried to get more out of Damien about his album..... but all very top secret, and exciting!! He has been in Nashville recording and will head back there soon ~ but he said it wasn't a country album!
