They've put up a new blurb on the BM site Damien Leith 07:00 pm, Saturday, February 19th Ahead of the release of his highly anticipated new studio album, Damien will perform a limited run of intimate acoustic shows. Playing solo for the first half, fans will have an opportunity to request their favourite Damien songs from any of his four albums – if there’s a song that you love but he hasn’t played for a while, this could be your chance to hear it. Afterwards, one of Australia’s finest guitarists, Eric Aranda, will accompany Damien for the remainder of the show and between the two of them they’ll bring the house down! This is a show not to be missed. I sooooo want to go  |

Do we have any way of finding out where else the show is gonna be? i.e. Melbourne??? Vic country?  ? I'd love to go to BM but couldn't afford to go there and then to Vic shows as well - however if D isn't coming down here I'd go to Sydney.  |

I think I will have to drop out of the Brass Monkey show and go to one of the other ones just announced.
He is on at the Brass Monkey on the 19th and 20th February, 2011.

Have updated the first post of this thread. They've added a nice new photo to the Brass Monkey page, so I posted that as well.  Sounds like such a cool format for a show! I assume/hope that all the other shows will be the same format.  Should we start a thread to make some lists of songs we want to hear so we can plan our requests, or should we just yell out whatever we feel like on the night? (Remembering of course that there will be other people in the room requesting songs besides us, so we can't actually request heaps.  ) |

(Remembering of course that there will be other people in the room requesting songs besides us, so we can't actually request heaps. ) I was thinking a requests thread is a great idea too Spud, that way Damien can see them early and we can also all enjoy reading all the requests  Not sure where the best place would be for it as it will cover a lot of shows, maybe the mods can think up a good spot to put a general one for this tour?  |

Tried to book a table for four (Sat Feb 19 ) and was advised that prices for the shows were not there as yet but they will call me back AND they had other people to phone back as well who have also made inquiries today.
DLO members I assume!
