Hi from Carla's. Everyone else has gone to bed, so I'm left to report on what was an incredibly beautiful and appropriate set for the audience tonight . Damien sounded magnificent, his voice is incredibly strong, the falsetto is working beautifully, as per, but it is his middle register, his deeper. more sonorous notes that captivated me particularly tonight. Honestly, although I've been a fan for a long time, and have heard him sing many times, the confidence, assuredness and just plain beauty of D's voice tonight left me breathless. I don't give a toss about anything else that we describe as being " Damien Leith", the man has a voice (and now a repertoire) which sets people alight, they simply can't get enough of those glorious tones. I was privy tonight to one such occasion, where every single person was under D's spell, from the second he came on to sing. They loved every moment, and didn't hesitate to show him how much. It was truly wonderful

Set list : No I haven't been on all night, I forgot to log off when I went to bed. We had had a glas of red or two.. D on his own with guitar: Golden Line - "for the ladies whistling and cheering on the table over there". Tenterfield Saddler - loved hearing this live again~! If Tomorow never Comes - a lovely blast from the past. Crying - we (and several others) gave D a standing ovation! Amazing, as always. Then Eric joined him: Never Meant to Fail Brilliant! Beautiful Crazy Love Creep - by request from the crowd! Gobsmacking! D on his own again : Waiting On An Angel Pretty Woman - sexy as! Not Just For The Weekend - Jagger's song, after talking about the new baby on the way. awww. Eric back: Never Tear Us Apart 22 Steps - by request. Wild World Alone - awesome! Loved it! Everybody's Talking. ;D Goodnight Encore: Hallelujah - a lady pre-empted the last note. D smiled, giggled and then blew everyone away! Just a fantastic set, the crowd, when not dead silent in rapt attention, clapped, cheered and whistled ;D. They really loved it! ( I knowI gushed last night (blame the vino) but it's true! They hung around to buy merchandise and meet D afterwards, for quite a while as well. ;D Eric was sensational tonight too..

making me really excited now ! i probably could have gone to this show, had i realized where Bulli was (thought it was up near Orange or something) Yesterday, Bron tortured me by taking me for a drive down the south coast. A beautiful drive along the scenic route following the coast and stopping for lunch at the Scarborough Hotel and finishing at Bulli!!!! I took a photo of the hotel and the sign saying 'DAMIEN LEITH 18 FEB' , cried a bit :'(then we took the Bulli Pass drive to come home But we did have dinner at a very nice chinese restaurant last night The set list is makin' me have hot flashes, and I'm not even menopausal

Wow, amazing set list! Thanks for writing something up that late, Trilly (and for staying up the whole night on DLO ). Getting excited for tonight, woo! Oh Deb, I can understand that feeling ... I remember once I was in Cronulla the night Damien performed at Brass Monkey and I actually drove right past BM but I was only 17 and a half so I couldn't go (I had emailed them before the night asking for an exception , but they said "NO! It's strictly 18+."). At least you're seeing him tonight though (and tomorrow?), yay!

Thanks for staying up late for the report Trilly, sounds like it was a great show! LOVE the sound of the addition of Never Tear Us Apart and Never Meant to Fail on the setlist! (just occured to me - 2 Never songs!) That was bad luck not realising where Bulli was Deb, but good you're going to BM! Great you can enjoy the over 18 shows at last Spud!

It's great a few of you were able to get to this one - at least Deb you'll see him at the BM Thanks for the late night report Trilly - the show certainly sounded fastastic. )not sure about the heat though... may be they should advise artist it's BYOF (Fan!) I can't wait to hear the new versions of Golden Line - I loved his acoustic versions I've heard before too... and Alone... and the others!

LOVE the sound of the addition of Never Tear Us Apart and Never Meant to Fail on the setlist! (just occured to me - 2 Never songs!) Ha, yeah, that always confuses me for a second - I have to actually think about it before I can work out which song someone is talking about. I think I might've even called NJFTW Never Meant To Fail yesterday.
