Ahead of the release of his highly anticipated new studio album, Damien will perform a limited run of intimate acoustic shows. Playing solo for the first half, fans will have an opportunity to request their favourite Damien songs from any of his four albums – if there's a song that you love but he hasn't played for a while, this could be your chance to hear it. Afterwards, one of Australia's finest guitarists, Eric Aranda, will accompany Damien for the remainder of the show and between the two of them they’ll bring the house down! This is a show not to be missed.

Costs here are $105.50 show and main meal, $93.50 show and main meal bar chair seating only ;D

I don't think 'our' Brian is going to this. I think the Brian referred to elsewhere (in the Newcastle Lizotte thread) was Brian Lizotte. He will be at the Central Coast tonight.

Sounds brilliant Braff! The set list (from what we've been hearing) is enough to make me  WTG, D ;D.. just throw in the occasional Muse, Dire Straits, Radiohead or U2 cover and this will be exhilerated! |

Wonderful show...picture SOL thrown into a sauna with you after some amazing food (that dessert was to die for :  oh my goodness!!!!! and we really were all very close  Damien wore the close fitting, faded black jeans and black cons, with a steely grey shirt that throws up a bluish hue in some shots. Only changed for the signing into a brownish tshirt. Gotta say this was a terrific Lizottes crowd, they generally know their music but this lot were vocal and enthusiastic and Eric thought it funny that we stayed with D on the high notes  *Sorry *Tenterfield Saddler *If Tomorrow Never Comes *Crying Cesar and Eric came on. *Annie's Song *Beautiful *Crazy Love *Not Just For the Weekend  * Pretty Woman this one needs to be played again ;D we all loved it and Lizottes rocked E & C went off *Waiting On an Angel *Blower's Daughter (never really appreciated this song until tonight)....an amazing rendition which led into *You're too Good to be True after which a woman yelled out "oooooooooooohhhhh you just broke my heart" E&C came back *Nessun Dorma with the audience as orchestra and this group was good *Danny Boy *Guitar Man/Stairway to Heaven At this point I gave D and Eric gifts *Everybody's Talking *Alone (requested by 2 ladies ;D) *Celebrate with dancing and audience participation  *Wicked Game/Kiss * A little of Galway Bay with assistance with lyrics from a lady in the audience They all left Encore This song for Dawn in the corner ;D ;D ;D ;D *With or Without You....the audience loved it and were really involved clapping and singing *Hallelujah/Sleepwalker There's a good chance we'll get WOWY at the Brass Monkey AND Never Meant to Fail. I hope he does Pretty Woman again too ohhh and Kiss oh and...... ::)okay I'll stop Braffy can do the stories.... but wow that place was literally steaming oh yeah, better tell the gift story D's had 'Go for it in your lucky undies' and Eric's had 'Just because you sometimes dress like Damien'  They both decided they would wear just those home ....... now I'd like a photo of the lads in their lucky yellow undies  Album tour is definitely July  keep that month clear  They've been selling merchandise well at all the shows  |
