I know Brian..people go nuts. ;D I guess"operatic" isn't how I see him anymore, but there's no doubting he can really stop your heart when he does sing it!

Young Straallen McCallum was also on the bill and he did a tweet to say that he was going to be on Sunrise on Tuesday. I sent a tweet back asking him about Carols and how did it feel singing with Damien Leith?
Here is his reply:
straalen @braffy it didn't rain at Hobart carols but it was a bit chilly! @damienleith was fantastic!!! Man he can sing!! & a really nice guy too!!!

sounds like it was a lovely night at the Carols, thanks for your report Trilly! Wow & Damien did so many songs, fantastic , would have been so lovely there by the bay in that spectacular setting in beautiful Hobart. A shame it was so cold but thankfully it looks like the rain stayed away for the main show. The duet for Silent Night sounds gorgeous and love the thought of Nessun Dorma with the orchestra accompanying Damien, would have been spinetingling!

Thanks for all the news Trilly. I'm sure just seeing/hearing D was enough to warm you up!! Yes, Tassie is a beautiful place, as you know we go frequently, just love it. Sure wish I could have been there this time.
