am absolutely beside myself after seeing the tracklisting, so excited to hear Damien's versions of these songs!!! Great upbeat ones, great heartbreaking operatic rock ballads, emotional ones, joyous ones - this is going to be fantastic!!!

I was happily reading along the list then saw these 3 all in a row - this part of the album is going to floor me!

A few of us here have wanted to hear She's A Mystery To Me for years, perfect song for Damien!!! OMG just the thought of Damien singing this song Bono wrote for Roy (knowing and understanding his voice and spirit) - to hear Damien do this song would be an absolute dream, I just cannot wait! It's builds from gentle to epic, soaring, soulful and everything I love in a song.... OK - YES, I AM EXCITED!!!!


Will have tears in my eyes for sure with Handle With Care it's one of those songs I can't think of in any other way than to call it "perfect", just smile & get tears loving it every time I hear the original! (I love George Harrison's part in this too, I think it's one of his most moving vocals & songs). Being a Traveling Wilburys one I wasn't sure if it could even qualify for this collection so didn't get too many hopes up for songs from that era of Roy's catalogue, am so happy to see it's there!


Erinbella, so looking forward to hearing "I Drove All Night"! Blue Bayou's promising to be something extra special too after reading Damien's tweet the other day about recording it with guest artists!

Wow, there's such a good selection here, this album's promising to have a great blend of moods and pace - seeing it all listed now really brings it to life! Don't even have to say how much I'm looking forward to the ones we've already heard Damien perform live - we already know his versions of those are second to none!!


All these songs build so beautifully, the great thing about the songs Roy recorded is not only his vocals but that they are so beautifully written. Seeing all the tracklist and the new website, the excitement for this has really kicked in even more for me now!!


The only aspect even better to look forward to now than to hear Damien's recorded versions will of course be to hear it all LIVE! Cannot wait to hear Damien belting out those big notes on stage - OMG it's going to be something else!!




EDIT - I'm back! I wanted to come back to say I think the last 4 are going to be amazing, (cannot wait to hear the arrangement for Working for the Man, & what a big way to finish!!) and then the first group too, and and and - the more I read this list THE MORE I LOVE IT!!! & I think the massive big notes & emotions in Running Scared could tear our hearts to pieces - aaaah cannot wait to hear it all now!!
