I'm listening to it as I'm typing this ~ only up to Pretty Woman and already in love with the album! D sounds amazing!!! I'm struggling to wait until the 15th for the album even more now. Well done to D!!!  |

Damien sounds like he's channelling Roy at times(check out "She's A Mystery To Me" ),  it's so damned good!..but it's still unmistakeably D! The tones, the range, the emotion, the slight traces of Irish accent.. God, this thing deserves to absolutely be #1!!!! ;D |

 OMG - anyone else feel like this?? It's just so beautiful!!! I have a feeling a lot of us were like this today! Oh Bella, I also had the exact same experience today with "She's A Mystery to Me". Being such a favourite I was so tentative to press the play button, but had faith it would be fantastic & jumped on in and OMG - yes as we always knew, all these precious songs are in the safest hands with Damien, it's just divine   . My heart just about burst again hearing "Handle With Care" - it's even BETTER than I hoped!  Just like when I first heard "For All of Time" at the end of RJ - "Love Hurts" totally killed me - was in tears loving it - it sounds so Damien, the emotion, the arrangement - I just LOVE it!! Those are the moments I wait for and hope for and that have never failed to touch me every time I hear Damien's albums for the first time There's something for everyone, so many different moods and arrangements, even just from these snippets it sounds AMAZING!!!! Love the full band sound in some of the songs, the sparse arrangements in others, the guest vocalists, the EMOTION in Damien's vocals, it tells the whole story of the song. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah these are only snippets and I already LOVE it!!!! I'm trying to hold back because I want to go to town writing about it all when I hear it all - but on first hearing - WOW Have been playing it on repeat so much today as well!! By the time we hear the whole album we're going to think it's the extended mix!
