Hi Damien,
Hope you are feeling OK today. We were all right behind you but it was obvious from the Samba when Todd marked you a 7, that they had it in for you. Nevertheless, you and Mel did a stirling job throughout the series and you have left that show with your dignity intact, no whingeing about sore legs, necks, no scandal or anything else. You took the unjust criticism like a man and when they couldn't fault you they had to resort to nit-picking.
You are a real star and King of the dance floor... it's just that they gave your crown to somebody else.
Congratulations also on the wonderful fundraising effort for Barnardos, it will make a big difference.
Best wishes to Mel also, she's gorgeous and I hope the friendship formed between the two of you will stand the test of time. Better add a hug for Eils as well, it must have been difficult for her these past 10 weeks.

Hi Damien, You should both be very proud of your efforts, you and Mel were both amazing last night. You both can hold your heads up high as you both did your very best and thats all you can do. As fans you did us all very proud! Eils and the kids deserve a big pat on the backs too for enduring the last few weeks along with you Damien. Hope you can enjoy some family time, and that Mel has some time to rest as well. She was just brilliant and I hope she does very well in her near future too.

Damien & Mel you were fantastic ...LOved & really looked forward to watching you dance every week, I am going to miss it We all know who was the best dancer, and you will always be our champion a lot of people I know have been watching and telling me how fantastic you are ;D I said I have been trying to tell you all that for 5 years And quite a few have gone out and bought "Roy" & are loving it ! So really you are a big winner .... Big to Eils & the family .... it must have been a long 10weeks for them .... It was great seeing Eils in the audience
