Well as I was on the train on my way into work, my lap top decides to start playing up just as Damien was about to come on so I didn't get to hear the whole interview. Josh kept calling Damien "LETHAL". He is going to try and arrange it so that when DWTS starts, we all vote for "LETHAL". Stace teaches dancing and gave Damien some advice to just keep smiling. She said it doesn't matter if your shoe comes off, you fall over or whatever, just keep smiling. Damien said he needs all the pointers he can get and is very nervous about the first night. Damien mentioned that he is finding the dancing very hard. Whilst at dancing lessons with his partner (Melanie) yesterday he had to lift her and was having trouble letting go. He was swinging her around and eventually when he did let go, she went into a wall and he fell over. They have not been told what their first dance will be. Damien said he was practising his CHA CHA moves whilst on the phone. They also discussed "Roy", the National Tour and all the websites to go to to find out information. Josh said Damien was a very brave me to be going on DWTS and they both wished him the best of luck. ;D

The information below is for an interview which is to go to air this afternoon. The radio host is Leigh Ryan from 3BA fm on 102.3 at Ballarat, Vic. I tweeted him quite a few questions for Damien and asked Leigh when the interview would be on. Here's his reply tweet: That means today, Wednesday Here's their website link. www.3ba.com.au/

I bet that's not the first time she's been thrown around on the dance floor though! haha, Some of us have seen teh hips wiggling in the cha cha, and yep, he can do it! I think D is his own harshest critic! I hope he got a chance to chat about Roy too..and maybe sing something? Will look for a podcast link.

Listening to Radio3ba, liking this station, good music mix and a cheerful local feel. I know Ballarat well, so can picture the places they're chatting about. D's interview should be coming up in an hour or so. They just mentioned the interview, after 4.

on now! Talking about Roy straight away, mentioning Barbara being exec producer. Roy at Sun and Studio B. How did you choose the tracks? D wanted to add his own stamp, be true and respectful, but not just cover. Mentioning the McClymonts on Blue Bayou, how lucky he was to have them onboard. Mentioning D covered most of Roy's career on the album. Talking about D's novels. Leigh didn't know D writes. ;D DWTS- he's got "a long way to go in the dancing stakes".. he's thriilled, so much fun, cool thing, good vibes amongst the contestants. ;D D says Manu is well backed, but he's a dark horse. If he went for the reality trifecta.. he'd try Masterchef. D reckons if he's a bad dancer, you should see him cook! No song, but great plug! That was sweet! ;D

Thanks for the link to the StarFM interview, Braffy. I couldn't listen live to either of these.
What a bright and friendly interview - a fun conversational style and informative. Really cool.
I like Stace's advice: Just keep smiling... no matter what happens, the show must go on! ;D
