This is a very good result. Just thinking aloud, you know, given that Roy doesn't feature at all in the top 50 downloaded albums chart it must be shifting a few CDs to be at number 2 overall. I wonder what the sales figures are? I also hope there really is some masterplan to get it to number 1 because otherwise the Mothers Day sales that caused the climb to No 2 might be the peak.

I always expected this particular album would do better as a physical CD than a digital download due to it's target demographic, so that isn't surprising. #2 is awesome!I now believe that D's current high visibility will be an asset in keeping the momentum up to take "Roy" to #1. |

I totally agree with Trilly and Sunshine. Appearing on DWTS will keep him in the limelight for many many ;D weeks I hope. There is a big audience following and people should warm to Damien and it would be pleasing for the hosts to acknowledge his ARIA standing not just in top 10 but No 2--- SO FAR  Just one place higher that's all I ask  ;D   |

Glawzy, the ARIAs are calculated from Friday to the following Saturday, and results are updated on the charts Sunday at 6pm. Sunday night's DWTS exposure may well help this week!  |

Trilly I believe the ARIA charts are calculated from Saturday to Friday so this would give Damien the last real shopping day before M Day as well as the exposure on DWTS last Sunday as well  Also ROY was a bullet performer at No 2 and according to the ARIA chart facts this is rare as they are given by the amount of upward movement and are generally attributed to albums that were lower in the previous weeks top 50. |
