Whole family were watching his rehearsals, Tina.. including Angela! ;D Yes, he did well.. the studio stuffed up the audio mikes, but they carried on like true pros! The judges were gobsmacked!! The routine needed him to be a bit aggressive.and he brought it off.. mostly.. at imes it looked a bit cheesy, but wow! Scores: 9 9 9~~~  GO DAMIEN and MEL!! How awesome was it to see Angela and Eils and the whole family there! Little Kikki Bo is so cute! And Jarvis and Jagger dancing..awesome!! GO DAMIEN and MEL!! |

OMG that was just BREATHTAKING, that was the most beautiful dance!!!!!!!! Everything about it, Damien and Mel looked AMAZING for starters, the most divine costumes - then... THE DANCE!! All the expressions, the emotion, the connection, the EYES!! - I thought it was perfect!!!!!  Absolutely teh SEXEH both weeks now - and this week was added teh SMOULDER!  I couldn't believe when they said there'd been that technical hitch at the start, it must have really thrown them but as a home viewer I couldn't tell anything was wrong so Damien and Mel covered any concerns they had perfectly!! Both what top performers to keep going so beautifully!! Loved seeing Angela, Eils and all the littlies at the start!! Everyone looking wonderful and happy and great to see little Kikki on her first tv appearance  Di am so happy for you that you could be there to see it all!! Hope you had the best time, cannot wait to hear what it was like!!! Was just so amazing tonight, OMG wow Damien we are all just so happy for you, & #1 on the leaderboard!!!! |

OMG OMG OMG That was just brilliant, Damien and Mel are awesome, absolutely the best for the night, loved the comments, I thought the judges were being very careful about what they were saying tonight for most of the dancers, Bad Luck for Nathan, he did well but I think his injuries held him back a bit. It was great seeing all the family at the rehearsals, they looked like they were having a lot of fun. I can't wait for next week all ready. I didn't spot Di either, I bet she had a great night though |

Hi Tina!  Hee I am just sooo excited about D;s performance and thank god the judges agree with me!!  Be interesting to see what sort of publicity a 9,9,9 score in week two gets you..I'm guessing if your name is Manu..wall to wall...if your name is Damien...well..let's see...  |

Yes i think the judges were being careful too! It was so great seeing the leith family, the kids have grown, its just gorgeous seeing the family together. i know that sounds corny, but it is just so special!
