Just saw the scrolly thing on the Ch 9 TODAY SHOW - Damien's going to be on THIS MORNING - it says, "7:40 - Damien Leith's new song" so I suppose this will be the segment Damien mentioned in his last newsletter? Anyway, I hope I catch a few of you with this alert so you will be able to see it  |

Was a lovely segment - showed Damien filming up in teh enchanted forest in Brisbane and it looks like the video will be gorgeous. Damien chatted about how many original songs will be on the album (Richard Wilkins just said it will be out mid-August). Richard also said Damien should be proud of the music from how good it sounds (words to that effect). The girl in the video must have been cold in the enchanted forest in winter in a sundress, but Damien singing sweetly & walking towards her will cheer her up I'm sure  - from the snippets it looks & sounds wonderful - really looking forward to seeing the finished product!  |

Something good actually came out of my DH having a broken arm this morning. Normally he would be at work but at around 7.30 this morning he flicked on the tele which just happened to be on Channel 9. At that precise moment he just happened to see "Damien Leith's New Song" scrolling across the bottom of the screen. He sung out to me that Damien was on tele and I rushed into the room with one leg in my pants and nearly tripping over the dog as I went.  Thank you DH - I saw that D wasn't on until 7.40 so I had time to finish getting dressed and hit the tape button before settling down to watch the segment. It didn't go for very long and you could only hear the song playing in the background but Damien was on my big screen in that cute flannel shirt with the white t-shirt underneath. A nice interview (even if it was only brief) and I liked what I could hear of 22 Steps in the background  . Can't wait to hear the whole song on Friday |

For some unexplained reason i haven't been able to view anything on you tube for a few weeks. It just buffers then thats it. Oh well i'll be patient and really enjoy it when it is released!

That happened to me for a couple of weeks then one day it just randomly started working again. But I think it had to do with my computer because it worked on another computer which uses the same Internet connection as this one. |

Roxy and Dede, you are legends!  I love that cute, self-conscious look on his face when the cameras are on him, he did it at the photo shoot for the album cover too. He's so self-depreciating, you can see his shoulders tense up when the attention is focused on him |
