Here we are at Week 8 and Damien and Mel will be doing 2 dances. Tonight is also the night where they only get the music for one of the dances 1 hour beforehand.  The two dances are Paso Doble and VienneseWaltz.  There have been good reports about the training for this week and I am sure they will do both dances extremely well even though Mel has been unwell for most of the week. BRING IT ON |

There was a very funny segment on Weekend Sunrise this am with Larry giving Sam dancing tips.. (he was the Dance Whisperer! ...actually no, he said Sam asked for the Dance Whisperer but he wasn't available so she got him!)  Then Larry & Monique were in the studio & Sam was on the couch at DWTS with Damien  and Manu  ..much talk about Sam with her voting numbers all over the screen!! Then Manu says he's feeling hurt by low scores... boohoo (Monique then went on to say how Manu is so hard on himself.. blahdiblah) then finally..Damo..Laz said everyone saying great things about him....does he feel the pressure with a couple of good scores now..but modest D of course says they got caned by the judges the week before so are taking it as it comes. Manu reckons Damien is as cool as a cucumber every week. Sam agreed..hehe Damien did not!! Monique then said it seems that public get behind them more when judges hard on them. Sam said yes everytime the judges are mean to her she gets more votes (how does she know how many votes she gets?) And Manu said , yes maybe it's a tactic of ours.. THEN..Jagger comes in to shot and squirms into D's lap and then the camera pans across to Jarvis too..so cute!!! Sam introduced them as two big fans..Jarvis & Jagger Leith. Monique said they're probably not seeing their Dad anymore so they have to come in here... Anyway it was great to see Damo on the show this am. |

Forgot to see what Manu was wearing..any clues to his first dance? I've been searching the US DWTS to find out about instant dance and the way they do it is they get the actual dance for the week and the music straight after their first dance.
