hi guys ,have been away for a bit,not from watching Damien though,have to agree Manu can simply not dance,D much better,all i can say is stuff it if we get divorced ;)lets get those phone bills sky high for Damo |

Well done making the finale  Sportingbet has framed the market for the winner and the odds are: Manu $2.00 Damien $2.50Haley $4.50 So the money is saying it's a two horse (so to speak) race I think he can do it  |

I was really nervous last night I think the judges scores for Damien were to low for both his dances and he should have been in the dance off with Haley. Damien and Mels waltz was gorgeous. I'm really proud of him for getting into the finals.

whats the split between points for judges voting and points for the public voting?
like if Damien's total points are 100% then how much is it diluted by the public vote.
or equally if manu's is like 50% of potential score, how much is it propped up by the public.
seems to me this is a popularity contest not a dancing contest.

It has always been a popularity contest Rivers. It is stated that if 2 contestants tie, then the one with the greater viewer votes will win.

I loved Damien and Mel's waltz last night. The music was beautiful. I was a little nervous but breathed a sigh of relief when their names were called out as being safe.  Samantha and her dance partner both said on Sunrise this morning that Damien and Mel will win it. I think they will too. ! ;D |

hmmm.. i think its all just "flexible" to suit programming ratings. At least with Australian Idol it was only about the public votes. Though even that can be unfair.
Means if Manu wins its NOT cause he can dance. haha
