hehe loving all the determination showing  from the damienites as well as D and Mel. unimpressed with the breakdown article, if anyone's been stretched to the hilt it has been Damien with added band rehearsals and the show - a big deal- and very late night. He would never take it to the press though. Whatever happens you are both absolutely worthy finalists and in a legit comp would be the winners. Just simply amazing what you have both accomplished from scratch  ;D |

"We had the first night of the tour in Melbourne on Friday, so I think just planning to start the tour before DWTS ended should tell people I didn't think I would make it this far," Damien joked. "But I've been surprised by how much I've really enjoyed learning to dance. My wife and I are going to go to classes together when the show ends because it's really just a great, fun thing to be able to do." |

Leith had his first concert of an Australian tour promoting his new album, Roy, at Palms at Crown on Friday night, a date he booked long ago thinking he wouldn't last to the end of the competition. "I never thought I was going to get this far, so I didn't think the concert would be a problem whatsoever," he said. Since day one, Leith has treated the competition as a fun life experience and it shows leading into the final. "I'm feeling really good about it," he said. "It's the last time we're going to dance on this show so we're just going to go out with a bang and have a good time." Ooooh How exciting!! Just told DH, that dinner better be over and done with before 6pm tonight, I want NO interuptions for 3 hours!!  GO DAMO AND MEL, you guys can do this!  Just have plenty of FUN , (after all that's all that is needed to get some extra points apparently!  ) It's great to see so many people coming on that have been absent for awhile too. ...HI Kazza and Michele!

GO DAMIEN AND MEL!!You are both red hot champions and deserve to win this competition. If it's a legitimate comp. you WILL WIN!! Have to say how much we have really appreciated the wonderful and spectacular dancing you have entertained us with over the past 9 weeks and applaud you both for your committment . In my eyes you are true champions and genuinely beautiful people. I'm so looking forward to watching you both perform tonight, but not looking forward to the heart palpitations and increase in blood pressure when the judges speak!!!

Hi everyone! I have posted for ages, (life just mostly too hectic these days), but I wanted to post and add my good wishes to the mix. Like you all, I have been watching the series from the first episode and cheering Damien and Mel on. I might also be prejudiced of course, but I really do believe that they deserve to win. Damien has, as always, been clearly giving it 120%, and it shows in the mindblowing improvement we've seen across the weeks. Its so lovely that Damien and EIls are going to get lessons together to share the fun from now on, too  I wonder if Mel will be teaching them?! GO Damien and Mel! Have a ball tonight!!! |
