Good morning everyone, just a quick report on last nights show from Carla's house, her arm is a bit sore so she can't do much and I have to get ready to head off home soon, so............................................. We got a quick glimpse of Damien before the show as we were waiting to go inside, he saw us from upstairs and gave a wave  OMG[/size Damien was absolutely brilliant, I'll post the setlist when I get home, its in the bottom of my bag somewhere, he was so into the show last night, his voice was brilliant although he didn't hit all the high notes, but WOW!!!!!!
He did lots of dance moves last night and looked like the energizer bunny, he said he does those moves while he's changing nappies 
A special moment was when he mentioned both me and Carla from the stage by name and said Thankyou for coming to the show 
After the show finished we were heading over to the merchandise table, George was there and told us to sit down and hang back for a bit, they got everyone out and Damien came out and said "hello" to us, he was so lovely  we had a great chat, he told us to keep an eye out in this weeks Sunday papers and his secrets will be revealed 
It all sounds very exciting.
I didn't take many photos, I just sat back and enjoyed the show although I did get a video of the hip wiggles and Working For The Man.
I'll post some more later when I get home.

So glad you had an awesome night, lovelies and that D was so into the show and so lovely afterwards.  That's why we love him, I guess! He can be such a sweetie sometimes. Such a great night out is exactly what Carla needed, I think. Of course I'm feeling a wee bit sad and envious too, only natural ha!  Looking forward to more detail Princey, when you get home. Set list in particular. Hope you find it after Teh Coma wears off. Hehe!   |

Sounds like another great night. That is terrific that Damien was able to pass on the news to look in the Sunday papers for some of / or all of the mystery to be unravelled (Damn I miss getting the Syunday paper on a Saturday night)  How lovely of Damien to single you girls out. Just popping in with the set list. Diana Rouvas was the support act tonight and Chris was back after a holiday in Amsterdam Its the same as most of the other shows, You Got it Only The Lonely Sweet Dream Baby which was part Damiens version and part Roy's version Love Hurts Spoke about how there will be something interesting revealed in the Sunday papers this week. Working for the man with hip action, I've got a video of this, which I'll try and upload tomorrow Blue Bayou with Diana singing the girl bitsd Beautiful Goodnight - he broke another guitar string In Dreams Leah Running Scared Mean Woman Blues Crying Handle With Care at some point he swapped his guitar for one of Erics They all left the stage, the crowd were banging on the tables and yelling more, more. When they came back out there was a drum solo and a big intro into Pretty Woman G. L. O. R. I. A. He then went on and said he's like to thank the 2 lovely ladies down the front here  and told the audience our names, what a special moment They started to play Hallelujah and then all of a sudden it tuurned into Great Balls Of Fire WOW The show finished with Hallelujah |

Thanks for the setlist Princey. LOVE GBAF! That would have been a fun closing! ;D Maybe the rash of broken strings means that D is over- tightening his guitar. He tends to tune it a fair way down the neck, I've noticed. Perhaps a slightly looser tuning would solve the issue? Just a suggestion. Eric would be the guru-to-go-to on this subject, I think. Looking forward to checking out the Sunday papers tomorrow morning for Teh Great Reveal!!! |

Sorry to hear that you couldn't make the trip Trills , I know what that feels like when you have made plans, booked flights etc and then they have to be cancelled due to circumtances out of our control. |

Carla hope your arm is feeling much better, Dr Damien is certainly one to take away the pain, sounds like a magic night Loved reading your report Princey, am so glad you & Carla had such a fun & precious night of beautiful moments to remember  Enjoy that coma!!!! Sorry to read your DD isn't well Trilly, I hope she is going ok. I love Jess Chalker singing but would also love to see Diana Rouvas do a duet with Damien, must be spectacular! lol Damien has been smashing those strings lately hasn't he, the band must be ducking for cover |
