How good was that. He was so funny, loved the bit were he promoted the next segment for famous people and Kylie asked him if he knew about her, he did'nt. He is so natural.

I read in the paper yesterday that channel 9 are doing a series on the Beaconsfield mining disaster. We should inform them that Damien has written the most beautiful song ( Stay ). Maybe they will play it in their promo's.

Just finished watching this - so much fun (except for those bloody infomercials - how does anyone actually watch this show day after day without being able to fast forward???) D was very natural and I love Kylie.

I've been out all day, but have taped the show, so looking forward to seeing it all later! I saw the first 5 or so minutes and Damien seemed a bit nervous, but I'm sure he relaxed into it as the show progressed......... he looked mighty nice sitting there next to Kylie though!!.... I thought she might be the one to fumble her words!!

Kids have gone to their dad's tonight. I got straight home from work and pressed the PLAY button. Just loved it all! Great host! Very cute when he's nervous Great dad! Great cook ? and he said he would never go on Celebrity Masterchef! Great goof - ups! he obviously doesn't know Baby John Burgess ( he will be so when he hears that back. Loved all the song snippets from all albums. The great thing is that between DWTS, ROY, concerts and such a comprehensive look at Damien's life this morning. People will no longer be saying "Damien who?". I loved Eillen's comments about D being recognised in public. It sounds like they have been able to go incognito for a number of years but DWTS has really ramped up his public profile! It's time to share him with the rest of the world, DLO'ers

Forgot to say, great to see some familiar faces. Anny, you're a trooper! How much were the teatowels?, gotta get me one of those Great to see some merchandise. I can just see the merchandise meeting. "Well given the average age of your fan's Damien, I think teatowels would sell better than Tshirts!" says Jennifer "But what about Krissy? She will want to buy one of my tight little Tshirts?" replies Damien!

Thought D and Kylie were a great team. D seemed a little nervous at first, but was eased into it all gradually and was a really enjoyable cohost.. He is disarmingly honest, still a kid at heart (lol @ using the toys ) and how very sweet of the entire family to open themselves (including Billy) to the public. Loved his singing (and Eric's) on the show and also how so many snippets were played throughout the show Could definitely sit through D as a co-host each day. Might even start watching TV again (briefly)

Thanks Trilly. I managed to get all your megauploads except the 'Masterchef' one. Has anyone else had a problem getting that one?

I still haven't had a chance to watch it all properly yet! but what I've managed to take in..woohoo! Brilliant! Damo is a natural, and he looked like he was having so much fun. Pretty amazing for a beginner when you think about it..that sort of thing always looks easy but in fact there's a real knack to it. (anyone remember watching The 7pm Project when it first started? All those guys were experienced on TV and it was awful , just awful..they were hopeless!) Damo should be proud! He really did it like a pro!

Oh forgot to say..watching D with the toys was hilarious..I think Kylie nearly lost him there! I reckon J, J & K might be getting a swag of cool gear this year..so Daddy can play with them!! (I reckon he'd have put in an order before he let that lady leave the studio!)

I also have to add that reading from an autocue and making it look natural would be bloody hard! I don't think I could do it. D has had a bit of experience I guess, but, geez, just watching him relax into it and go with the flow, plus generating his own brand of silliness really impressed me! ;D WTG, Mr Leith!

Might even start watching TV again (briefly) Totally agree with these comments --The longer the show went the more relaxed he became and I would not be surprised if there is an offer of some sorts coming his way very shortly from television executives. Loved Crying --To me this showed off his voice much more than say Blue Bayou when he finished my first thoughts were--WOW . Did you hear him say that "ROY" has now been in the ARIA top 20 more than ANY of his albums--He said that this was now holds the record for most times in the top 20 of all his albums -I think that was his exact words--I think
