Just back from a very pleasant Saturday afternoon out
Anny and I had a great possie to one side of the stage right at the front ;D Damien was in fine voice and was looking very smart in tight black jeans, white shirt, black tie and jacket. He was accompanied by Chris on keyboard and Cesar on bass (no Eric today ). The set list was -

You Got It
Handle Me with Care
Hallelujah
Pretty Woman (complete with growl )

The crowd seemed to really enjoy it and there were plenty of people singing along to the Roy songs. He got the biggest cheer, however, for Hallelujah. It was also obvious that the stint on DWTS had brought a few people out as well (including a group of very excited young 12year olds in the front row).

There seemed to be lots of people buying the CD and a good number of people lined up for the signing. Damien was there for about an hour after the performance and was very happy to see Anny and myself. He was very excited about the fact that Roy has gone back up the charts this week

Looking forward to seeing the photos, great song list too so glad you all had such a great time! And also great to hear there was a squad of young teens in the front row to cheer on Damien, just goes to prove how popular he is with all ages!

Oooh womby that sounds like an awesome day you had. Love the little set list too, I'm sure it did sound great, and awesome you and Anny got to have a chat with D

Great to hear about the younger crowd too,...remember Krissy wasn't that much older when she had her first experience!!

Hi, we (the "old" couple) have been at Narellan Town Centre this afternoon, too! Damien was fantastic again, of course!!! The highlight: Our favourite song "Hallelujah"! After the performance we had a nice chat with Damien, and he signed photos from our meeting with him at Enmore Theatre some weeks ago.
We told him that we had a two hours journey by ferry, train and bus to go to Narellan. He was surprised and had to laugh - he said: And that for only four songs! (Yes, yes, yes, Damien, we would do it also for one single song...)
By the way, we have seen you, Anny and Womby, and took two pictures which you would like: Anny with Damien. (We could send the photos to you. Via email?) After that we did not see you again to talk with you, sorry. We think you do not know us, only Braffy and dmac do it from several shows and occasions before. So what we wanted to tell you: We had a great afternoon!!!

Hi 2damienfans great to hear you were able to get there today, I've seen you on a few occasions but a while ago, at Dee Why and the Angus and Robertson instore I think (?) which is going back a few years now. Really nice to see you posting!

So thrilled you could make it Womby (and Anny) ..sounds well worth it. Can imagine the up close and personal feel of an in-store..must have been brilliant!

How cool to have Chris and Cesar there too..shame about Eric, but Damien's voice would have been really dominant without the guitar..not a bad thing AT ALL!! Looking forward to the pics.

Smiley, I absolutely agree with you about Erics guitar drowning out Damiens voice. And fantastic news that Roy has moved up the charts again.

It would have been interesting to hear D without Eric, I agree Smiley, D's voice would have been the most prominent instrument ;D. Hearing him a cappella is always mind -blowing! However, IMO, Eric never "drowns D out", exactly, Zeeta, they have their own moments during their performances, and Eric's electric or acoustic playing is a wonderful accompaniment to Damien's singing, usually. The drums are a different matter occasionally though, especially if you're sitting right up the front!

Awesome news about the album heading upward AGAIN!!
