In the Australian ARIA Chart for 24/10/11 ROY is #19 after 27 weeks in the charts.
This is a wonderful result for Damien.
I have a gripe though........
I went to JB Hi Fi today to buy one as a gift for a friend.....no stock.
I went to K Mart and managed to get the last one.
Even though this is no longer in the main ARIA Top 50, it is still selling and Damien is still touring. It was not on the JB stand of artists who are currently touring, and it isn't on sale through the PO like a lot of other Sony CD's are.
What does Damien have to do to get on these lists?

So just imagine if there were more stocks of ROY around  , one of Greg's mates has been looking for a copy too and hasn't been able to get one, he asked me if I could copy him one but I won't, I'm looking around today |

It is very hard to have sales if they don't have it.
At least you know that you can get it at one of the venues this week, but I prefer to get it where the sales will count. The last time I bought it for a friend I bought it online from Sanity or JB because I was also buying Where We Land.
One thing I will say about the JB Hi Fi store that I was in was that they had 1 x Where We Land, 2 x Catch the Wind and 1 x Remember June so at least that was good.

I found a few copies of it yesterday, none in JB but they had some at Kmart and of course our local cd store and Myer

 ROY is still in the Top 20 Australian Albums on the ARIA Chart after 28 weeks. It is #20 which is really good since it is so hard to buy. I am hoping that the Victorian stores have stocks of it since Damien is touring there this coming week. Yes Braffy and it is worth noting that Damien is No 20 and 1 to 19 are all in the top 50 on the ARIA albums chart. Oooo so close to R/E time CONGRATULATIONS DAMIEN ON THE SUCCESSFUL LIFE OF THIS ALBUM. |
