Yes, it was over too quickly, but Damien certainly showed himself to be a wonderful host... he's just so gorgeous and OMG, he's even better looking since I saw him a couple of weeks ago,  He'd probably say it was the makeup!! Was laughing at all the sampling and taste testing going on.. what a hoot! I'm going to so look forward to Sunday nights now   Nice recipes too, more to add to the collection. |

 Wasn't it fabulous!!!! Just loved it, it was exactly as promised, comfort tv, something cosy to watch at night with the family, lovely food with a bit of fun as well and not to mention GORGEOUS HOST!!!! Can't wait to try out the recipes and love that Damien asks the questions that the viewers might be thinking. It's relaxed, fun and a great way to learn a few new twists on some favourites!  Will be collecting the recipe cards! at the "can't opener"!! All the little off the cuff moments are really cute and he was firing the whole show with the little asides Lovely gentlemanly holding of the platter for Sammy & Bella as well, very nice Damien  My faves of the night would have been the Christmas cake, cheese platter & pears, & biscotti, & I'll give that summer salad a try too, like the way they combined the strawberries/balsamic reduction with the cured meat & lambs lettuce. Really looking forward to next week's Christmas special! Wardrobe report - The Shirt!of!Kitchen!Loveliness! was smoooookin' (suitably kitchen-ey adjective  ) and looking forward to seeing the All Black "Burns You When It's Hot" Shirt!of!Kitchen!Hawtness!  in coming weeks (from the preview) So great that Damien's doing this show, it's a lot of fun in the lead up to Christmas and fantastic to see him on tv again each week

Got to see most of the show, WOW Damien was so at ease, not nervous looking at all, if anything one of the chefs looked a tad nervous though. Damien is a pro at this now ;D Loved the look of the Chrissy Cake too How lucky for Damien to be able to taste test all that food! ;D (I bet Jenny Craig were hoping he'd be signing up with them  )..lucky for D he's a thoroughbred!! the food certainly looked yummy, although I'm not a fan of too much Olive oil, so I would certainly cut that right back. Great show and looking forward to watching again next week. Awesome job Damien! ;D

Loved the 'can't opener" segment too Shims!..and the one they decided on is the one I use! I love strawberries marinated in balsamic, so I might try that salad after all.  Thanks for the links Braff.  It looks like the Kitchen Aid prizes are going to be ongoing. (Have entered! I was eyeing off a KA food processor recently in my local shops!)

That show -Test Kitchen was so much fun. D is such a cutie.....sorry D , wanted to fiddle with the hair at your crown   then had a giggle when he licked his fingers Have to agree that he was very kewl and so professional and it's great to be able to understand what the host is saying  . Great rapport was apparent with Damien and the others working on the show. Food looked great! and lucky D got to taste test  Thanks for the links Shims and Braffy reminded my friends to watch |

I just loved seeing Damien on the telly last night, how good was he on this show the recipes looked really great I'm looking forward to all of the other episodes, Sunday nights are looking pretty good for the next 6 weeks |

Really enjoyed the show. I like the fact that it incorporates all aspects of cooking. Love the can-opener segment ;D All the "interactions" were fun but still informative. Congratulations Damien and the Test Kitchen team.
