Sounds perfect ladies! Great day all round. Glad the weather was good for you..poor Sydney ..on the news it looked like a terrible day. Believe me Smiley, the atrocious weather our friends are having up North was in our thoughts today. We all mentioned it, and we were very thankful for our good fortune.

Denim long sleeved shirt and tight black jeans, the hair was to die for, long and curly~~ and blowing around in the wind I absolutely love "Fields of Anthenry" especially when I hear D sing it I get a little tear in my eye. Thank you for your fantastic reports ladies. Glad to hear you all had a wonderful day. ;D

I absolutely love "Fields of Anthenry" especially when I hear D sing it I get a little tear in my eye. Thank you for your fantastic reports ladies. Glad to hear you all had a wonderful day. ;D I do too, Bella. It is such an appropriate song for this occasion as well, when you realize that the lyrics are about a young man being missed by his wife (and missing her) after transportation as a convict to Australia for stealing corn to keep his young child alive during the Irish Great Famine. it's so sad, but such a beautiful tune. I hope D sings it at QPAC on St Paddy's day for you.

Reading the St Pat's day QPAC thread I saw that the violinist who wil be playing with the band then is called Lara Goodridge. I wonder if that was the same woman yesterday? Seems likely. Come to think of it, I think I recall D saying, "Go Lara!" during the gig. ;D
