So having to do the interview wasn't just an excuse to get away from the pirate-and-shirt-buttons the conversation had descended into
If you compare it to Dede's pic of him talking to us on the forum, he's wearing the same T-shirt. Why couldn't he have given us a live video feed of the interview and song promos?

There's another little pic of Damien at the Shrek Premiere in the Sun Herald. Has that been posted anywhere?

I haven't spotted that yet Spud! But I did see the main article here - isn't that just amazing!!!!! What a glowing review, it's so exciting for Damien - I just can't wait for the new album, it truly sounds like it's going to have great critical acclaim and be treated with respect by the press. I'm just thrilled reading that article!

When I saw this fantabulous article I Squeeeee'd extremely loudly and double checked whether it had already been posted ...but No! So I madly typed it up cause I knew how much everyone would love it!

you wanna know what we were doing . well DH went out in the cold and the rain to get the Sunday papers as usual and came back with a much smaller bundle than normal ..... "sorry hun but all the shops have sold out of the Herald, just the Telegraph today"

so thankyou smiles ;D

... obviously a lot more Damien fans in Sydney than let on

Hee hee- I don't always get the papers- in fact I don't often get the papers but when D said at the end of the online chat that he was off to do interviews then I was hanging out for someone to zip out & get the papers nice and early to post on here without me having to leave my cosy little spot in the lounge room!

But, instead I rugged up and trundled down to the shops on what can only be described as a glorious Sunday, and got my D fix myself!! (surely needed the exercise so all was not lost! )

When he performed a couple of impromptu songs inside SonyBMG’s recording studio in East Sydney-singing so beautifully, then tinkering on the piano- there was a sense of being part of something truly extraordinary.

I've felt like this about Damien since I first saw him and heard his wonderful voice.
