There are 7 covers and 6 originals. To add to yours assuming that is correct. I have Googled and found these titles of songs I'll Be your Baby Tonight (Bob Dylan) Can't Get It Out of My Head (Electric Light Orchestra) ELO as opposed to DLO Braff, Can't Get It Out Of My Head was written by Bob Dylan. ELO covered it. D said the songwriters, (other than himself, of course) were all from The Travelling Wilburys, so that makes sense. Liking the track list. Two George Harrison songs pleases me ;D although I'm not a huge fan of Got My Mind Set On You. I'm with Shims though re Here Comes The Sun. Wonderful song, can just hear D and the band doing that one! I'm really intrigued to hear D's originals and how they flow with the covers. Love the idea of the discoveries to come very soon!

Oh and am totally rapt that D has recorded Leah (always my fave Orbison song) and re-recorded his marvellous Beautiful. Am very curious about the new mix!

I think Can't Get It Out Of My Head was written by Jeff Lynne, Trilly. It wasnt written by Dylan. It was on Eldorado, which I have somewhere. Wikipedia seems to agree with me.
I'm curious about Run. Is that an original? Could it be the Snow Patrol song that Leona Lewis did a very cool cover of? Damien has often said how much he likes Snow Patrol and I have often thought he could do a great version of that song.

That is probably right, ODT. OOPSY! haha . Forgot he was in the band too. Didn't Dylan have a similar song though? Wil search good ol Wiki. nope, must have been thinking of Can't Wait. Can't see how Snow Patrol fits into the Wilburys scenario, though. I'd say it's a D original.

Very excited about the covers..great selection and I always loved the Travelling Wilburys as a concept and Damien moving on to them after Roy is a smart move as well as giving him such a great body of songs to choose from. Got to say there isn't one I don't like! Have to wonder how on earth they chose the songs..must have been difficult. But most of all I am beside myself in anticipation of his new songs and the reworked Beautiful. This is going to be GOOD!

I know I'll love it, but I hated that there were two T. Wilburys songs on ROY (They were just a bunch of old blokes to me, when I was in my 20's : . I grew to like YOU GOT IT after seeing D singing it several times. But HANDLE WITH CARE, I have to admit that I still skip that track from time to time . So to hear more of the same isn't thrilling to me . But the originals will more than make up for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strangely enough The Travelling Wilburys is the only record I have with Orbison, Dylan, Petty and Lynne, so will be intrigued by how the covers have been done, am certain they will have a definite D style

Love the list of originals. Beautiful must be the favourite as the single. Fingers crossed. I see a few people are thinking Beautiful might be the first single. Looking at the pics from the clip, I'm curious to how they'd do it?

Yeah it's funny you say that smiley, I was also wondering about the shots we saw from the video clip and how they might be associated with Beautiful, if that is the single!! It's got such a romantic vibe I can imagine a newly married couple sitting at a candle lit table!!

Love it Smiley, this is exciting thinking of all the ways "Beautiful" could be played out on video!!
or a couple of teenagers!!! They could be in that University in Sydney at night where D did the JBT, (can't remember the name of it?) it had such an eerie feel to it and such a cool vibe, that would look awesome with the couple at a window or somewhere around the grounds , and they mouth the words You are so Beautiful to each other or something like that.

Fabbo! We should be writing the screenplay for the video clip!! So many possibilities! The words "You're all that I know, all that is true" could be mouthed by a couple touching the feet of their newborn baby or a older couple at the end of their lives..Like in the Leonard Cohen clip of Dance me to the End of Love
