I like the part when talking about 'bump' that he says "we're due in May" having an equal partnership in this baby. I can see where you're coming from braffy but...sorry...this turn of phrase really irks me (sorry to D too...!) Very SNAG but Eileen is due (to have a baby ie. go into labour ie do the bl**dy hard work)...not our dearest D...But big brownie points for trying D I've no doubt he'll have an (almost) equal partnership in other ways (excluding the occasional bout of male nocturnal deafness...lol!) Oh Morgaine that's a bit tough! It's their baby that's due to arrive. It's not his fault he can't give birth.

Nothing against D (we all know he's a sweetie)...LOTS of guys use this turn of phrase- actually lots of couples do... but...it just irks me...Call me old fashioned! (or an insensitive cow ). Sorry...getting very Off Topic here...

Sorry...getting very Off Topic here... Can I really call ye an insensitive cow? ;D (kidding! ) I'm with braffy, I love the use of "we" I understand that D isnt actually giving birth (yes, I passed sex ed! Woot!), but if I can point out his other use of the term "we": "Its a really good feeling, gigging again, for Eilen as well, because its something we used to do so much of before Idol."Now, even though Eileen isnt actually playing these gigs, he still refers to gigging as something he does with his wife. Like having children, or making any major decision - its seems as though they share everything, and relish in it. Sounds like a wonderful partnership, doesnt it?

(yes, I passed sex ed! Woot!) Rub it in for those of us who barely scraped through, why don't you. Personally I've seen a lot more lousy useless fathers around than I'd like to believe exist, so it does my heart good to hear of one who is treating the whole business of parenthood as a joint affair. I just don't see how the 'pregnancy is women's business' line does a relationship any good. Men seem to either want to call it an equal endeavour or not want to know the details at all... and I know which of those appeals more to me. *throws in a mention of Damien to make this relevant* ;D I figure Damien would be naturally open about that kind of stuff anyway, with his science background. He knows the right terminology, which is cute.

Thanks so much Dede for the scans and links. I'm absolutely dying to hear the songs that are going to be on D's album, but I also want to hear the songs that don't make it onto the album - that's going to be a killer missing out!
Doesn't Eileen look radiant and her bump is such a neat little package. It's so cute how D says they like to giggle together - very sweet. I wonder if we should run a baby competition ... you know, guess the sex, weight etc.
I'm so disappointed D doesn't remember Janny throwing knickers onto the stage - Janny will have to rectify that next time she sees him in concert *yes that was a dare Janny lol*

ohhhh....one of my fav songs is Travis's "Sing"! www.youtube.com/watch?v=DapvMAOq4hAIf it has that sort of feel, I will just love it.... (well face it, like everyone else here, if Damo sung Happy Birthday, I would still love it....!")
