Sounds like you girls had a wonderful time Trills. So happy for you all. And have to giggle at how smitten you are!   Saw some pics on FB and he sure did look great and very happy too. I bet he sounded fantastic  I know Carla!!  He's cast his spell again on me.  The combination of a gorgeous voice singing pretty and upbeat music, great looking outfit, a beaming smile and lovely hug is very hard to beat! ;D |

haha, that lady was standing next to Krissy and me Braffy, she said they even checked her grapes and she went in  we had a lovely afternoon, Damien was very generous with his time, he's so gorgeous, they had Now and Then playing through the speakers for most of the afternoon and it was so lovely, we were all singing along to the songs. I'll post the photo's a bit later on, I have to head out again now. I'm in heaven |

OK, time for more detail. We met up around 11.30ish, found the stage, had a coffee nearby then, after discovering that the front seats were reserved for comp winners (from the centre) and wheelchair access, we lined up in the security"cattle run" and had a great standing possie, copies of Now and Then in hand, ready to be signed. Whilst we waited, we sang along to the album being played over the PA. ;D (Not quite loudly enough, we thought.)  The very cute MC noticed us and so did security, but they were sweet, obviously recognising dedicated fans.  s  Cesar came on to do the sound check and we all said hi. He's such a sweet, shy man. I guess s en masse are a bit initmidating for him! Anyhoo, the crowd grew larger as it came time for D to make an appearance. When he did, the numbers had built on both floors. It was a respectable turnout for a warm Sunday. More gathered as D sang, drawn to his marvellous voice..as the lady said in her tweet. Men and women, youngish types, kids and more mature fans. Very cool!  When D began signing, we couldn't help but notice how considerate he was with every person. When it was our turn he greeted us warmly and chatted away happily. He's really pleased we are all enjoying the album, he's very proud of it. Awww.  |

OMG!!! Like the other girls said... just a fantastic day, and free to boot!! Damien once again was very generous with his time and there were plenty of CD sales judging by the lineup for autographs! The up close and personals we will treasure, he is such a darling. I had three of my grandies with me and he spoke to all of them, asked their names and said they were about the same age as his kids! Looking HAWT -ER AND HAWT-ER, this sexy man is brilliant. Crowd built as he began singing, and all ages and sexes lining up for photo opportunity. Here are my pics, they're not marvellous as behind the barrier was a little far back for my camera, and hard when he's moving. However, I love the one of myself with D so posting it here too.        Sorry about the sideways ones... I did edit and rotate them on photobucket, but they turned out wrong here!! |

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So in love and spellbound as always after everytime I see him! Man! He was fantastic. Here's us thinking we had to wait till September to see him, but my god it was soooooo good to hear/see him.   As you all know, I hadn't actually heard the album properly! SO I WAS DYING TO HEAR IT!! And like Sue said they were playing it over the PA!  ALL 3 songs he played were gorgeous! Espescially Beautiful, which was so amazing as always. Was greeted with a huge hug and kiss! (just the way I like it ) and as sweet as he is he asked if I was well! Awwww  We talked about the album/tour a bit. Regional concerts are def towards the end of the year/early next year, Damien says its just the way things worked out unfortunately. And then I asked him if he was doing more stuff here in Melb which I will make a thread about after this!!! Then of course we got a lovely photo! (Which is on FB ) And Sue and I also got one together with D which was nice!! ;D OH!!! And when he asked me whats new I said it was my birthday not this week but next, so he wrote happy birthday when he signed the album!  Nawwwww!!! Thanks for being so wonderful and amazing Damien, Love ya NOW EXCUSE ME WHILE I SIT BACK AND ENJOY AND THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!!

Damien is looking so happy and very relaxed. He has put on a bit of that weight he lost last year and looks hot.
So generous with his time. He mentioned us his loyal fans.
Then hugs and kisses and a lovely chat.
Loved Beautiful today he mentioned that he wrote it for his family.

Great to read all the buzz and happy excitement, sounds like this was a wonderful event! I loved the grapes story too, good for that lady! Loved the pics Glawz, the big curtain backdrop looks great and fabulous tie Damien's wearing there!! Damien is absolutely glowing lately, so fantastic to see him looking so well and happy  Nice to see Cesar there with Damien too! Your pic with him is absolutely gorgeous, seeing so many lovely new pics this week! |
