OK, here I am with a bit more information. It was not a total sellout but 80/90% Not too many vacant seats but some scattered here and there plus I think the last 2 rows. It was amazing that the front row was not full. I had been watching the seats for a while and when I found out Plugz and CR's seat numbers I knew that I could book next to them. That row is very close to the stage and it is in stiff neck territory which is probably why the locals chose the seats back from that row. I didn't mid though because the show was worth it. Damien was very funny as usual throughout the show. He mentioned again about the babies that have been born and Eric said he didn't get that memo. Damien spoke about taking the kids to a skateboard ramp and how he was encouraging them to have a go. They were hesitating and he realised he shouldn't tell them to do it if he wasn't prepared to do it himself. So up to the top of the ramp he went and he said when he got up there it was like looking over a cliff. Anyway, he had a go and on the way down he had a 'King of the World' moments and then went head over turkey He then realised that people were looking at him so he jumped up and said I'm alright. He hurt his hand and said he couldn't play the guitar. (He was doing ok I can tell you) I wanted to ask if he was wearing a helmet but I didn't. The boys would have had theirs on. The new song sounded really good and it was based on a romance break up. Damien decided to do it on the spur of the moment. It's a co write with another male. He also spoke of the association with Joe Melson who was a co writer with Roy Orison, helping to write a lot of Roys big hits. Blue Bayou, Only the Lonely, Crying etc. Anyway, Damien has been doing a lot of work with Joe via Skype. Once again, Damien broke a guitar string. It seems to be a regular occurrence now. He then borrowed a really nice guitar from Chris. Chris went offstage to fix Damien's guitar while Damien was talking to the audience and then Damien realised that Chris was missing so he started the next song without him, It might have been at the time Damien was talking about Dancing With the Stars and how his worst dance was the Samba. There was a lovely gift on stage waiting for Damien, plus there was a small gift for each of the band members. It was a great concert and later Damien did sign the books and Cd's. Plugz and I didn't get our photo with him but we made sure that he met Crackling Rose since she still hadn't had that opportunity. I asked about the next tour and Damien did say a few in February but no locations or dates are available yet. I asked about Eils doing Mt Kiliminjaro at that time and the dates won't clash except perhaps one. Damien is going to Tamworth again in January for the Country Music Festival. I told him I had a lot of hugs to pass on, which ;D I did and as he was leaving I realised I didn;t give him a hug from me so I had that one too (I had to take advantage of the opportunity). It was a very late night which is why I only posted the set list on a laptop that is so different to mine that I kept pressing 'a' and getting the capslock key instead. I had to keep going back and fixing it. Thank you so much to Crackling Rose for having Plugz and myself plus 2 others from Sydney for the night. Crackling Rose had local friends go to the concert and Plugz had a family she knew from Wodonga come up for it also. Everyone loved it. I heard from CR today and she wrote a long report last night and when she went to post it the darn thing disappeared on her. She is having a visitor again today staying the night so she will get it written up again when she is able to. Plugger will do a report too.

Just seeing Roxys siggy and her post reminds me that TEH CURLS ARE BACK So nice ;D Also, we were told NO photos. I asked if Damien had said that or the theatre and I was told it is the Theatre's rules. I was told as I entered that I had to put my camera away. I wan't happy with that of course but did as they said. We had great seats and I could have had a lot of photos MINUS the microphone. When Damien was doing the encores I thought damn it and grabbed the camera out but because I was trying to be quick and un noticed I didn't give the camera time to focus so the photos are absolutely crap I took about 4. If only I was able to just let the camera settle and then click it would have been ok.

;D Thanks Braff! Glad you all got to say hi and pass on the hugs. Yay for more tour dates in Feb and for Teh Curls! I hope Damien sings many of the songs from this set list next time around! Was feeling sad that I couldn't get there, but now that my DH is home and recovering and Feb dates are happening, my blues have disappeared. Happy news all round.

;D It was awesome! Just fantastic! Braffy has covered the set list (phew glad I didn't have to do this one it was huge). From the minute they came on stage We were off clapping, seat bopping. Every time I looked at CR she was just staring in a daze. ;D The coma! Thank you CR for having us too. . It was lovely to meet your gorgeous friends too. A lot of fun. And yes we did get a meet and greet. He is such a gentleman! And no Braffy and I did not get our pics taken I was busy taking for others who had not had the opportunity before. The Wodonga family and CR. if you could have seen her face and heard the conversation she had with "D" she made up for not meeting him in the past We did get a poster signed and a peck on the cheek. I will never wash the cheek again! Actually one funny thing did happen. Whilst. I was playing photographer a lady lined up to have her pic taken. (Eric was kind enough to come out and chat and have pics done too) I think she basically pushed Eric out of the way and said I don't want you . I just said to Eric something like well you have been told , I said how rude, he just chuckled! I said I bet you get a bit of that, pushy old ladies, he said yes. I told him I had some nice photos of him which we're from previous shows. He is a nice fella! I deleted the rude woman's photos that I had on my camera! Damien signed my DS' s library bag, unwashed, and never to be washed again! He took it to school yesterday and said he was famous, and that he had also signed a gift for Damien(his choice of gift too)! So DS feels very very special, he is home sick today with this awful gastro bug! Thanks Damien you made an 8 yr olds day! Oh gosh, if I think of anything else, Oh I did say a big hello to Damien from all the Melbourne crew, I told him I would get shot if I didn't Well Braffy pumped him for info, very good at it too. Well it's back to reality and the sick boy and the gastro clean up! We now need to wait for starry eyes CR to report in. Some great pics of her! Are you out there CR? It was just brilliant! I think they were on a high may be because it was the last show! Thanks again Braffy, and CR for a fantastic weekend, a lot of fun!

sorry this is a bit late, but as Braff said I did write a detailed report on Sunday night some how lost it as I tried to post made me almost suicidal I was pretty tired it has been such busy few days for me and still it goes on, I have my friend from Newcastle staying here now, her Mum is very ill in the Wagga hospital...so this may be a bit short as we are spending a lot of time down there.... on to Damien That gorgeous gorgeous man ....Braff has pretty well brought you up to date with the song list but I have to say when he sang "Crying" WOW!! I don't think I have ever been moved so much, it just blew me away, I had goose bumps on top of goose bumps & my heart was pounding for hours after, the whole show was just amazing...that beautiful voice.. great personality ( very funny) of course the BEST was yet to come, meeting Damien after the show was a dream come true for me, I think Braff & Plugger may have whispered in his ear, cause when I tried to introduce myself.. he said that's ok I know who you are & gave me a big hug..had my photo taken with him...I have waited six years for that.. not the best photo of me,of course Damien looks gorgeous...still my favorite is the one where Damien & I are gazing at one another, ( just having a chat really) I love it will try to post it when I have more time...then just when I thought life couldn't get any better.. I got a hug & a kiss on the cheek as he was leaving...... we had a wonderful weekend.. my little house was over flowing with Plugger, Braffy &.my two friends from Sydney ( Damien Virgins) they had a ball & are now big fans & can't wait for him to do some shows in Sydney...me too!!!
