I'm here!!!! take the tent down, but leave the fire going, it's damn COLD here and raining cats and dogs!!!
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! So happy I managed to make this, a bit of juggling and all was good!! so everything turned out as planned! ;D Was great to see Bella again! and to meet your Dad, he is so lovely ;D Sis and I had so much trouble getting a park, we thought this was surely a good sign that the shops were FULL, and they were! unfortunately, not much advertising was done for this Instore, as I heard a few people comment that they usually get emails from Westfield about things that are happening and didn't get one saying anything about Damien being there.  Maybe 150 people I reckon were there, so not too bad considering no advertising!! Damien looked DEVINE in a black VELVET jacket, which I stroked!!  it was very nice indeed, with blue jeans and white shirt!! nice combo!!  Ceasar was Damien's right hand man today, as Eric is still away. He sang BEAUTIFUL HERE COMES THE SUN I WON'T BACK DOWN "sigh"  Sis was getting hot by this stage and needed to unrobe the jacket!!  Really great sounding, Damien's voice was in great form and Beautiful was mentioned regarding the Estee Lauder ad and the possibility of touring in the UK later in the year.  Ok, the security here was ASTRONOMICAL!!! seriously, I thought President Barack Obama was arriving instead of Damien and that we must of had the wrong Shopping Centre!! there was even POLICE!!! A tad intimidating that's for sure! and a LOT OTT!!!  Damien is there something you're not telling us??  We lined up to get our CD's signed and went up to the table 1 at a time, I gave D a huge hug and had a little chat, he asked if I wanted my photo taken, sorry Damien I didn't want to take up too much time with photos so I declined  Some toilet chatter before the show......a couple of young girls, one says...omg 27 minutes before he comes on and then I can meet him......was that you Murf?? ;D Had a great day and so glad I made the trip, LOVE YA GUTS DAMIEN!!!   Thanks for coming to Brissy  |

haha no not me! I missed seeing him sing! I only got to the line about 1:20 cause it took me about half an hour to find a carpark!

The weather wasn't the greatest to be out and about but I was happy that I had made the effort to go to Garden City today. The heavy rain and my being at a signing took me back 5 years ago to when I first met Damien. I've never been to Garden City before and so it took me a while to find the stage area but my radar got me there in the end. I was looking around and I could hear someone calling my name and it was Sister. It was great seeing her and Roxy again. We decided not to line up straight away and just stand back a bit. A few minutes later Damien came on wearing blue jeans, white buttoned-up shirt (leaving just a hint of chest hair to be seen) and a blacket jacket. Damien performed 3 songs. I remember two of them. "Here Comes The Sun" and "Beautiful". The crowd loved Damien and there was a good line-up for the signing. When it was my turn to go up, Damien greeted me with a smile and a hug. Only had a very quick chat. He asked me how I was doing and really seemed to care. He is such a nice guy. There was a professional photographer there for anyone who wanted to pay for their photo with Damien. I was asked whether I wanted my photo taken with D (free of charge). I remember saying no but somehow I got talked into it and the next thing I knew the photo was taken and it could end up being put on their facebook page. It was time for us to go and Damien saw us leaving and gave a wave and blew a kiss. Thankyou Damien for coming to Brisbane and l'm looking forward to seeing you perform again here in October.  |

Famtastic ladies, I can hear the happiness in your reports. ;D it's funny how just getting to see D, even for a brief time, is so much fun. We miss him when it's a long time between drinks, like you guys have had.  And Murf, wow, so  for you to be there too! Pardon Roxles, what's this about guts??? Pity you couldn't make it Smiles. Obviously you were missed. Piccies please! I gather he looked rather HAWT! It also sounds like a decent turnout. Cool! Hope he sold lots of albums. ;D Pity about the security Nazis. Why does that seem to happen in Qld? btw, hate the "cattle runs". I think they're actually intimidating and off- putting for casual passers-by, as well as erm, dedicated fans s like us.
