So, now that Damien has got quiet a few original songs up his sleave I thought this might be a bit of fun. ;D I orignally was going to do a top 5, but I couldn't even narrow it down to 5 myself!!   There's just so many of D's songs I adore.  I'm having one of those "Ahhh, I love Damien so much" moments    If you can/would like to narrow it down to 5, by all means GO FOR IT! I tried to make a list of 10, but couldn't narrow it down. I love Sky, Shine Like the Sun, Beautiful, Goodnight, All of Remember June, pretty much all of Where We Land, Song for Jarvis, all originals on Now & Then. eeep! OK, everything that Damien writes bar 1 or 2.  Not putting any songs in order though. |

Nice thread Krissie! There's certainly a lot to choose from and it's a bit hard to choose as my faves rotate a bit, but I'd say this is my current top 10  1. Maybe Someday 2. For All of Time 3. The Other Side I can't even say many times I find myself singing The Other Side to myself "ba ba ba ba ba..." - nearly every time I'm cooking I end up bopping away to that in my head Love them all and the ones in my Top 20 could easily be in the Top 10 too! What a dream it would be to hear Damien do all these in a show!!  |

Wow, this is tougher than I thought it would be! Putting these in order is so difficult, so I haven't, except chronologically. Damien's writing has been through changes over the last few years, but i've realised that the songs which I most love are those which I feel speak directly from his heart. Come To Me

Thanks everyone for giving it a go! ;D I'm loving seeing everyone's list, interesting to read. I like the faact that a lot of you have put down songs like, Song For Jarvis, The Other Side etc. I absolutely LOVE Right Next To The Right One, that is in my list too. As well as Unordinary World. GOSH! This IS hard! Hahahaha |
