I like the aeroplane and banner part. It fits in with what Damien says the song is about, (quote) "Like yelling out at the top of your lungs - I want you! About losing your inhibitions and just going for it!" (endquote) The banner is an exaggeration of that. Rather than yelling it out at the top of his lungs, he has a huge banner being flown around for the world to see.
