Thank you shimmery. That was brilliant to see and hear Damien sing this. I could not get over though how rude so many people were with the noise they were making. It was as if Damien was a side show to their lil talkfest. Don't they know they are in the presence of a superstar!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it was SO rude!!! I actually gave them the "stare of death" and they piped down a bit, and BF also had a real big say to them after that song and that quietened them down more. It breaks your heart to hear people chattering over it, maybe someone here will be able to remove that aberration from the soundtrack?!

Shimmy, thanks SO much for that!....if you can't be there, its the next best thing.xx After the - relatively - (as in with exception of The Tart Factor) - quiet reception to his songs at his concerts, it must have been a bit of a culture shock to make himself heard over all the drunken Irish Aussies...haha Thank you so much for all the trouble you have taken to bring us these! xx |

Thanks Christyl - and lol yes it was a pretty noisy Irish crowd there that day! Braffy it's a MOV file so if you open it with Quicktime you should be right  |

My default media player is Real Player and it won't play this file  Have no idea why RP is my default or what to do now... BUT...thanks for posting shims (and thanks BF too!)...very dedicated damienite duo!  |

Morgs, lol dear BF is a sweetie for helping me out with the videos, he hadn't done one before and was learning on the spot! Also Morgs, if Real PLayer is taking over, this is what you do. Start up Quicktime, just on its own. Then "Open file" from when you've got Quicktime open, and select the movie file for tBD. Then it will open inside Quicktime, which is how you'll need to do it. Hope that helps |

Wombat it gave us ALL goosebumps! Wasn't it great that he sang this!!! A real buzz went through the crowd when we realised this was the song, and he just launched in - there really were people swooning around me (lol, not just the rest of our gang, total strangers!  ) |

A big Mwah and thanks to you Shims and your BF for putting this together for us. You are a great team.  I loved watching the video even with all the rude chattering but hey, it was an outdoor concert so it's to be expected I suppose. I particularly loved the way Damien broke into Can't Take My Eyes Off You. I imagine there were a lot of fans there who couldn't take their eyes off him. Thanks for sharing Shimmery, I felt like I was actually there, sigh! |

Yes Hyp I agree. Braffy and I are just getting the Damien Leith Care Committee organised for the National Tour. I bags being Damien's masseuse and Braffy has offered her services as his Dresser. She is going to make sure his shirt is properly tucked in. It is a full Damienite gig, we're all going on the road with him. The only requirement is BYO sleeping bag, or hammock if you wish. We'll work out the rest as we go. We now need nominations from all the other Damienites as to what role they will play in caring for Damien while he's on tour. Maybe I should start another thread for this.  |
