I just raced to post this as Damien is on Channel 10 news being interviewed with Angela Bishop - everyone watch again tonight on the late news, he may be on it again

Hey, I just saw it on TV!  OMG, Damien has dyed his hair brown? ;D He looks good, and sang a bit of "Danny Boy" too.  August 18 - release date for the new album.  |

Ok that was just gorgeous. Damien was wearing the Purple!Jacket!of!Powah! (until we get another name, lol) and was speaking to Angela about the new album and how he was very happy to have so much original material on it. Yay Sunshine I'm so glad you saw it too, I was trying to get a post up here when I saw it come on! Wow, have wanted to hear Damien sing "Danny Boy" for ages - and it was just as beautiful as I had thought it must be  Anyone who missed it, just try again on the TEN late news, hopefully it will be on again!  |

I'm so happy for him that he's got 9 of his own songs on the album, and we can be sure they will all be brilliant - Damien is a terrific songwriter! And I'm so looking forward to reading his novel.  |
