Cup Day AND Damien on my telly! Always a great combo! Thanks for the heads up! 'Twill indeed be interesting to see which song from Chapter Seven he chooses. For once, I have no clear fave to barrack for! Faith In Me is a gorgeous ballad, but an upbeat choice would be awesome too, especially if Eric is with him. Thinking Without A Fight might be his preference.... Loving this! My favourite holiday and my favourite singer back in the limelight!

There is some confusion regarding this. In Sydney and I'm assuming Melbourne The Morning Show is only on from 9 - 10am due to the Melbourne Cup coverage starting from 10. The show may not be in the other States because of time zones and daylight saving and the Cup day broadcast. Best, just to tune in at 9 to see what happens. Also, even though Damien says he will be on around 9.50 am, last time he said a time like that he was on at least 10 minutes earlier so it would be better to have the TV on from the get go or at least from 9.30 am. He will also be on the Alan Jones breakfast radio show on 2GB www.2gb.com 5.30 am - 9 am You can listen live. Alan Jones is a big supporter of Damien's ( although he has a habit of not letting him answer the questions before he speaks over the top of him) I would think Damien would be on around 7.30/8 ish. Or not before 7.30

It certainly was Awesome Braffy, OMG!! It was on here about the expected time, and I loved the earlier promos featuring Run and (?what was the other one???) Seniors moment!! Also in our shopping centre today they were playing NOML!! Lovely to hear Damien's voice anyway. I might give Centre management a call and ask them to play Chapter Seven. There's somebody there who likes Damien, even though they only play WWL!

It was To Get To You from RJ, Glawz. Have to say it kinda annoys me when an artist is promoting new work they intro him with previous recordings. Why is it impossible to use the current work? If they had used the Without A Fight footage, D could have either followed up with the live version (as he did) or have chosen to sing another track. Wish there was some co-ordination happening! I mean, would the Beatles have liked to have The White album promoted by the station with I Wanna Hold Your Hand? I think not. Artists move on, so should their promotion, IMO. However, the Morning Show have been great supporters, that can't be denied.

They showed the Without A Fight video as well as the TGTY one (and a bit of Run before the ad break) ... I think it's good that they remind you who the artist is by playing some of their older stuff, and then they move on to the new stuff. At least they didn't talk about Australian Idol and play the NOML video.
Without A Fight sounds really good live!

Very true, Spud! OK then, glad they did show the new vid. :)How did I miss that? Still, it happens far too often that the latest visuals or music is ignored in the intro. Gotta say, I don't think too many people who watch the Morning Show need reminding who Damien is though! :Phaha!

Ha, yeah, true, he is a regular. I love how The Morning Show support Damien's original music. I mean, they could've just played songs from Roy to grab the attention of non-Damien fans who like Roy (which is what usually seems to happen on other shows), but instead they chose to play three of Damien's originals.
Also, lol at when Kylie thanked Damien for naming Chapter Seven after their network.
