A message this morning from pcoe posted in the media thread on the earth concert
Hi guys, Pcoe here. Just a snippet of info for you lovely people who support Damien.
Damien was awarded pesonality of the month by the Star Newspaper in Ireland in December 2006, and was presented with a beautiful Waterford glass chrystal bowl. As a result of this, he has now gone forward for a Person of the year award for 2006. This event is on the 3rd May 2007. Lots and lots of people are nominated, and it is just so great that Damien has been included. It is introduced on the evening by our Prime Minister - An Taoiseach - ON TEESHOCK. We, as Damien's parents have been asked to attend in Damien's absence, and we consider it a great honour.

Oh and Congratulations to you, Damien! You really are a Star.  (..that's a heart shaped star..in case you're wondering.. ;D) |

Congratulations Damien! Just being nominated for such an award is already a win!  Thanks for sharing this news with us Angela. You and his dad, must be so proud and you've every right to be as Damien has a wonderful character along with his many talents. That doesn't happen by accident. You are surely wonderful examples for all of your children. |
