Hi Everyone, I know there's a few fellow Queenslanders on this forum, and if they are anything like me they wont be able to wait until 7.30 our time. I'm so excited about tonight and can't wait to hear our lovely boy sing. Can any of the Sydneysiders please keep me updated about how he goes. I know he'll be great but I just need to hear it! (Mothering instinct!) PS I guess I'd like to hear how the other 3 went too (trying to be nice and fair here). Thanks guys, Cheers, Lozza

I'll give it a go if you like, though theres also usually some others who update as the show goes on..... of course I'll have to warn you that my commentary will have a completely D-biased slant to it....in case you were expecting anything else! ;D

Thanks winterlong, If I didn't expect a D-biased commentary I wouldn't have asked, now would I!!! Could have just gone to the "other' forum! I'll be ready and waiting for the D Love-In.

OK, I'm ready! I'm only one hour behind, but every second goes by oh so slowly come Sunday. I've got my supplies: Bottle of wine - check (darling hubby provided this for my big night in - BTL, I'm half tanked already to calm the nerves) Box of tissues - check (no explanation needed) Family fed - check (I hope they ate it, god knows what I made them in my excitement) Free house - check (though husband did say that he's pop back in after IDOL, as he reckons I'm always in a REALLY good mood after the gorgeous D sings - I'd go to the *naughtly corner but I'd miss updates then!* Bottle of wine - mentioned that already but it's nearly empty. Oh well, lucky he bought a dozen!!!!

Jess is up first singing "Butterfly"
I'll put comments for everything here but when Damien sings I'll go over to the Week 9 thread.
Lol, staying organised...

Ha ha, after all that confusion I missed Jess! I heard her though - she sounded good but Kyle said she seemed a bit uncomforatable.
The songs seem quite short!! They should just make it 1 1/2 hours and have long songs... that's my opinion anyhow..

Jess sings butterfly....she looks so beautiful as always, and is such a joy to watch. But I gotta say as much as I love her I just cant dig this style of music. I guess shes done it really well, though I really agree with Kyle (shoot me now) that she looked a little uncomfortable And this 2 minute song thing is the pits....theres just not enough time to get into the song at all...at least not this one..... I think D has got the "pimp" spot (last performer ;D )

I agree with allowing longer time for the songs! So you missed Mark's ($#%*&) comments?
